  • living in sd...i take for granted all the sites

  • @chughes44 I guess that's what we do wherever we live-but SD in very special xxxxxx

  • in SD we love our storms

  • @singingislife1996 THAT storm was CRAZY!!! xxx

  • people must feed that mountain goat food because i see him everytime i head up to mount rushmore

  • @cchatheway LOL xxx

  • Nothing wrong with that at all JC, Gee, I just noticed you really have made an occupation out of youtube, nothing wrong with that either JC.....lol, ...Your positivity is very attractive and uplifting...cheers

  • @tenparab Thanks-i really enjoy You Tube-I love the connection. i have even stayed friends with Tom-the lovely man who showed us Crazy Horse in this video xxxxxx

  • I went to the bear park when I was little and a bear came right up to my window and then walked away!

  • @HogwartsGirl13 LOL xxxxxxxx

  • C.H. was murdered in 1877 so I don,t think he was friends with the originator of the monument .But I get your point, positive thought all the way, I,m up for that . dream on

  • @tenparab LOL-I vaguely remember seeing him in a photo maybe with one of his family members??? I don't remember now. Nothing wrong with a bit of positivity anyway xxxxxxx

  • Thanks for putting this on because I don't think 'm gonna get to S.D.in this lifetime but I've read a lot about it.Anyway my point is I'm in two minds about the C.H. statue because its certainly not the sort of thing Crazy Horse would have wanted given that he always refused to have his photo taken when he was alive. But I suppose this statue does draw attention to him and in some way might have a trickle down effect to the Lakota people which was always crazy horses main concern. well done lov

  • @tenparab I believe he was friends with the originator of the monument....I think people should appreciate and enjoy it for the intention it was created for, instead of trying to analyse it. This monument was to support the American Indian people...gosh-they won't even accept government funding as they want total control so it stays true to the original intention and dream. Glad you liked my video-thanks xxx

  • So cool Megan ! You've been to so many places!

  • @JasMine1307 Thanks-I love travelling xxx

  • i went there for the 4th it was sooo cool you guys should go to the devils tower you will be glad you did

  • @thefifthteen I would love o xxxxxxxxx

  • That amazing thing(Crazy Horse) represents loyalty and freedom. He's a LEGEND! It's ashame ethnocentrism exterminated his people. And now they want to commemorate him by putting his face in a rock? Hahahaha! Silly.

  • @PunchSuperman Think you need to read up on the history of how this all happened and the ethics that are STILL behind this today...to the extent where they will accept no government funding so they can have full control of the dream of creating a monument and a university for the Indian people .

  • Glad to know you guys had "a blast" at the mountain carvings

  • @DancingSpiderman LOL-it was DYNAMITE!!!!! xxx

  • NIce video....i love jewlchic video's....

    Hug from italy

  • Feed the bears, and they'll think you are made out of food! Uh oh!

And thank you for the donation!

I've heard there's few vandals in Australia, and that your cities are very clean of graffiti. Is this true?

  • @QuartuvLarry Our cities are clean, but we do have graffiti and vandals...I believe Singapore has none xxx

  • "Everything is so GREEN!"

    Really?

I mean, this isn't normal even in the fertile parts of where you live?

  • @QuartuvLarry We have been in drought conditions for quite a while with serious water restrictions xxx

  • Did they ever give an estimate as to when they predict the whole thing might be done ????

  • i think about another 15-20 years...........

  • Your video made me smile, I too was there twenty five years ago. I was raised in Custer and worked at Mt. Rushmore for a summer, it was cool, going back in a couple of weeks to visit family. Nice work. By the way, my dad used to work at a petting zoo that had three bears, Bonnie, Clyde, and Clyde Jr., after the petting zoo closed, the bears went to Bear Country,

  • Oh-that's so nice-so you haven't been for ages either??? I LOVE it...will definitely return!!! Maybe I saw the bears when i was at Bear Country!!! xxxxxxx

  • Actually I was just there at the end of August for a funeral, didn't get a chance to do much, but it was nice to be home.

  • It's a beautiful part of the country and incredibly friendly too xxxxxxxx

  • That place hasn't changed much since i was last there in 1994. Thought they would've completed alot more on Crazy Horse too. When they were workin onnit last, the rest looked the same except the hole. I figured by now they'd have the horse sculpted. Prolly be finished til i'm old and grey. haha What's funny is that no one knows what Chief Crazy Horse looked like too. Guess that's the best they'll do. Anywho glad you had fun Megan. : ) BTW... Hello! haha

  • I have to admit i thought more would have been done too, but it was so cool to be able to be up near the face!!! Tom,the guide, says that it should be finished within the next 25 years...things are moving a bit faster these days xxx

  • Never driven that way before, just flown over - be great to visit that part of the States sometime. Thanks for the vid :)

  • Chris-it is real America. People there were lovely and everything was slowed down...people stopped as you crossed the road and everyone was happy to help. Really nice xxx

  • It's funny, I was there like a year ago. I rode up to meet my father who was curious about buying some land. We didn't know it at the time but it was also Sturgis bike week. So, dad rented a Harley and we turned his trip into our first time at the bike rally. The story behind Crazy Horse is both sad and monumental. Stabbed in the back. Interestingly enough, I rode away with a new saying that 'before america, this land was once free'. Last time I had been there may have been around 25 yrs ago too

  • Oh Scott- you must go back-it was sooooooo exciting seeing the developments of Crazy Horse...i so hope it is finished in my life time xxx

  • I am sure that I will,

There is a really cool cave site called Wind Cave. Look it up next time. Also, Devils Tower is not too far (about 170km) from Rapid City. Badlands Natl. Park is a sight too.

    Ever been to Egypt?

I was looking up plane tickets the other day in curiosity. I want to see the Temple of Horus soon.

  • That would be amazing- never been to Egypt xxx
