  • you could be an bad guy in a film fo-sho!

  • uk... can you set up a base in NZ?

  • wauuuuu he kind of LC...

  • this guy speaks kind of funny jajaaj but great style thoww

  • Voglio urlarlo a tutto il mondo:

    Giulia sei la mia vitaaaaa!!!

  • i feel it for that guy...he took BEATS

  • does anyone know how to defeat brazillian jiu jitsu

  • Don't let'em take you to the ground. If you can maintain a standing fight, they've got very little on you. That's hard, though, so I'd suggest learning escapes or counters to takedowns and throws to prevent them getting into a dominant position in the ground-game.

  • kick to the groin

  • don't grapple

  • @ryler05 its easy

  • Does Shorin-ryu Karate teach you how to do a HADOKEN?

  • Forget that! Teach me how to do invincible shoryukens!

  • What does he means by "monkey" ?

  • I'm sorry you feel that way. I'm not here to flame anyone, as you can see I have not tried to insult anyone. I like all of Master Wong's other stuff, but I feel strongly this is not real wing chun. I have researched different lineages on wing chun extensively, and have even practiced it a little myself. I do know what I am talking about, and I definitely not coming here biased by one lineage or style of wing chun. Peace!

  • Am I the only one who feels bad for that guy that gets his assed kicked in every video hahhahahaha

  • I love master wong!!! no monkeys allowed!

  • egg

  • badass matafucka... i dont wanna be in place of that guy when sifu Wong goes angry... 0.55 epic

  • I love when that music kicks in and they do the zoom in. I just like to hear him talk. I would by the DVD just to hear his explanations. Master Wong is a dangerous man. Good stuff.

  • Cool music starts and coolness too.

  • this is wing chun!!! the punches he did were in the center line. all becos he moved one side and attacked different areas of the body, doesnt mean its not wing chun. he was already in wing chun stance.

  • I would agree. Wing Chun always moves off the line of attack, but stays pointed towards the centerline. That "trick stance," where he has all his weight on his back leg, is not the wing chun fighting stance, because he pelvic area cannot tilt forward from the bottom to create his forward triangle structure. A lot of people fight over what is and isn't wing chun to a ridicuous extent... but here I think they would all agree that this is not real wing chun... it looks like a hard southern style

  • the leg stance is correct, as hes constantly in his wing chun stance, but since this is a demo of how to attack and strike, it is differnet than the forms such as sil lum tao forms but still has the same principles.what is real wing chun? according to 'real' wing chun, it has evolved and changed over the years. if you want to go to the roots of wing chun, you have to go all the way back to Ng Mui's system when she was still experimenting with hung gar kung fu.

  • martial arts don't "evolve" without becoming a completely different martial art, unless they just elaborate on the mechanics that already exist. Look up Chinaboxer and Heartslord channels on here. they have different lineages but they share principles, especially that structure that makes wing chun different from other southern styles. peace

  • martial arts does evolve but not as rapdly. its the reason why modern wushu, sport tkd, sanshou including modern wing chun exist. alot of wing chun teachers nowadays teach full contact sparring, including groundwork which would not happen back then. it also depends on the school and the founder whether to add new elements of ma to their system.

  • Which was my point. Wing Chun masters add groundwork and stuff, making is different than old wing chun, but on a superficial level. this sort fo evolution is something I agree with. We should add missing elements to our training. Upon looking back at his other videos, I see his wing chun looks decent in some places -- but I still don't know. This is just a bad demonstration, i guess.

  • Chances are he knows alot more martial arts then wing chun to and when you know more you can mix it all together and put it all into one style

  • He does, supposedly. I like his stuff well enough... his self defense is definitely legit. And the key phrase is "mix up" lol because sometimes you combine principles that don't work together and make a frankenstein system. I don't mean to be so argumentative. I was just playing around there with the sentence before last.

  • It's ok I like a good arguement haha so what martial art do you practice if any?

  • "If any" lol thats almost an insult. no, jk. The real answer to that is any and every martial art. I hold rank in a few styles, but right now I practice alone. My main area of study is kung fu, but since there is no kung fu school here i'm going to take up Shorin-ryu Karate within the next month or two.

  • Nice I mainly study from books but my older brother is an amazing martial artist as well and he has been training me for awhile now

  • What are you talking about? "don't evolve"? Martial Arts change ALL THE TIME. Why do they change? People add more and more to it. Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Kung Fu, Savate, Phillipean fighting tactics. THEY ALL STARTED OUT DEADLY! Kill or be killed. Fight or die. Created to destroy. Now we cant do it. Its not like the BC's. If some one insults you you dont KILL THEM. Martial arts have been evolved into less lethal versions of the ancient kind.

  • Eh? Ever heard of Shaolin kung fu? It wasn't used for killing unless absolutely necessary, yet it is world renowned. Its all about control, which has existed FOREVER. Your idea of "evolution" is called "Watering Down" and is heavily looked down upon by good martial artists. Techniques don't change either: kicks, punches; they're all the same with just slightly different styles of execution. "change" and "evolution" are two very different things. Didn't I already agree that MA's change?

  • Ever hear of the legend of the 13 monks? Got pissed off killed an entire kingdom. Besides people now-a-days don't want street defense (different from war arts), they want to do flips and karate kicks. It's bull crap. Besides what does it matter? evolution is evolution. Good or bad. But, it's not the old days. It's not if you attack me l kill you. Law has a lot to do with it. Now you have to be "justified" if you get attacked and defend yourself. I don't like it either but its happening

  • If I were attacked I could still disable that person. If I were to throw a knifehand to his kneck he would most likely double over and caugh. No death. I run away to safety. This is the same knife hand used in war and civilian martial arts alike, which don't differ a whole lot except in area of focus. There are only so many ways to move.

I agree, the tricks are utter bullcrap. I don't believe real, ancient martial arts had them because they were developed out of a need to survive.

  • You are right. I'm sorry. But, the difference from back then to now a days is a black belt/black sash meant something. Meant that you worked HARD! Now all this stuff means is you can do a round house kick and not run out of breath. It's a childs game for people that don't have high self esteem. THAT'S the biggest piece of bull I know in martial arts. We (well more america) are stripped Martial Arts of its pride. AND Its history. I find it unfair. + some have become mere SPORTS! SPORTS

  • No problem. And yes, that stuff gets me worked up too. The fact that some americans try to rewrite martial arts history so that they can scam other americans into buying into it, is even worse than all of that, I think. And we stripped martial arts of its pride, just so we could fill ourselves with it. Martial artists are supposed to be humble, because the idea that is martial arts is in itself enough pride to allow others to notice without the studiers being pigheaded.

  • Yes, I agree 100%. I'm not a traditionalist, how ever, some tradition would do us well! UFC, XMA, Kung Fu Movies. Teaching people that if you can show off you can fight. It makes me sad. And in the chance that you DO FIND a good martial arts school is about the same chance of a terrorist bombing you directly in america. Disgraceful. I was lucky enough to find good instructors. Taught me tradition, honor, and respect. Self DEFENSE ALWAYS SHOULD COME FIRST! THAT'S WHAT IT WAS CREATED FOR

  • nice!

  • sifu wong is a baddass lol! i love wing-chun thanx sifu

  • But you know if there is a different opening and not one towards the center line there gonna go for that

  • YUP ITS OFFICIAlL:

Jim NOW has gained the "Iron Body " technique after gettin fucked up by Wong for so long.....

    "FIVE STARS!"

PS He must be rubbing Dit Da Jow (Iron Palm Lotion)all over his body before these demos lmao!

  • he got body armor

  • lool ha ha nice one !! ^^

  • Wow!
