@thgz I had the info on the video I made when I actually did the mod.

I used:

Sandpaper

Superglue/gorilla glue

30.5-37mm step up ring

37mm lens of choice

I got the 37mm kenko wide angle 0.5x/telephoto kit and the lensbaby 37mm macro kit from amazon.

That's a nice wide angle lens. A lot of online shopping cheap wide's are usually distorted (fish eyed or bend the horizon). How'd you know it wasn't a fish eye?

@kiwirock30 To be honest I just took a chance on it. I have seen other 0.5x's that seem more fish eye then this. I think this is just wide enough not to be annoying.

I'm looking at a kit online that gives me a Wide Angle and Tele lens. I need the Wide Angle but is it better to get a macro or tele if i'm not going to use either as much as my wide angle?

I only got the macro lenses because I do the reviews and they are helpful for that. All depends on what you intend to use them for. I use the wide angle the most, I don't film without it on the mino.

Most of my reviews have macro footage in them. Check my glockmeister stainless steel guide rod issue video, that starts off right away using the macro lens.

@hathcocked that was cool. well i ordered the Wide Angle + Tele Lens. My Camera has a macro lens so i'll see what macro looks like with the lenses on Maybe i won't need one. But i can also just order the macro lens later. thankz

These are made to screw onto the front of point and shoot's or camcorders that have a threaded mount so it works well with this. I will glue on the 30.5-37mm step down ring which clears the Mino's lens on all sides and then these will screw on and off like it was stock. Should work pretty decently.
