Been 19 years since I last heard this one, and the sooner I heard it, it felt like Jan. 1992 all over again, and back then I was just as interested in the music of the 1960s and '70s. Today's fans and many of today's "artists" wouldn't give a damn about the music of the '80s and '90s. They have no idea who we have lost and what THEY have lost. These days, more and more, each diamond we lose is being replaced by cubic zirconia. And that is sad. Even Teena knew this.

When I heard Lady T was no longer with us, I was in shock & in disbelief! This is the song I picked at that moment to dedicate to her in her memory, I guess Techn9ne & I felt the same, because I shared this video with all my friends as well as posted it on my FB & twitter. just like Phyllis Hyman, before her Teena was that rare aritist that combined very high level of musical intellect with raw beauty....I always thought of her as an angel from a higher power that knew that she would change lives with her music. She is and was an unadulterated GENIUS...there are singers and there are a lot of singers that know how to play instruments. But Teena knew how to sing, perform, produce, arrange, play several instruments and write music. I believe she's in a better place
