this is due to wealth. The poor and less educated tend to be more religious, namely have more fundamentalists in developed countries today. In places like China and Cuba, the atheists are actually the worst, since they were indoctrinated to become atheist. Wrong again. Theories never become laws, ever. Theories (a small set of axioms and their logical implications) predict and explain laws (simple sets of similar observations). In scientifically discussing gravity, we can talk about the LAW that describes the attraction between two objects, and we can also talk about general theory of relativity - why the objects attract each other.

Wrong again. Theories never become laws, ever. Theories (a small set of axioms and their logical implications) predict and explain laws (simple sets of similar observations). In scientifically discussing gravity, we can talk about the LAW that describes the attraction between two objects, and we can also talk about general theory of relativity - why the objects attract each other.

I believe in the possibility of God, and in my opinion he sure as hell wouldn't be the bible God. I believe he, wants us to have peace between each other. @Lavere2009 It's been 2 months since your comment, so I dunno if you watched this again or not. At the very end, right before he says 'Peace to all...', he admits that these comments do not reflect the majority of theologists, as they are made by a small number of them.
And on the flipside, as you've stated, there are atheists that do this, too. Keep in mind that Atheism is not a belief that God does not exist. We simply choose no religion, but that doesn't mean everyone else has to do the same.

I personally think that the world would be closer to a Utopian state of existance without the bigotry and fallacies of theological beliefs. I have to say that Philisophical belief isn't that big of a deal to me as more often than not its more about bettering yourself as a mortal being than embracing simply false ideals that are more corrupt and evil than the followers are willing to admit. An Atheistic world should be what we strive for really. The concept of 'god' kills more than Reasonability.
