I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. This past Sunday (November 7), our Sunday School lesson was taken from Psalm 66:1-12. It was entitled God Is Awesome. This was a recommended hymn for it. Also, I'm sure this will be sung at many churches with Thanksgiving coming up. Last year at our service, our pastor based her sermon on this hymn and the origins were very interesting.
