  • Gossiping outside the classroom...

  • Alien comité

  • I still have mine and its box with the tail the box is K but th figure is in great condiction but you have a army nice!

  • Take off the plastic dome, and it becomes an ALIENS action figure

  • Question, why do they make toys for kids based of R-rated franchises?

  • @Wyzilla In this case, they didn't for very long.

I was lucky to get mine when I was 6,

after I saw the movie with my dad.

They pulled them from the shelves very quickly.

I can understand, this is the stuff of nightmares...

But I was never scared of a movie ever again.

And I still have the toy...

    in Used condition.

  • i had one of them over 30 years ago, you could take the clear plastic dome off its head to see all the details in its head, also parts of the head glowed in the dark

  • These are TOO cool to be plastic!!

  • dam cool!-had one, mint ,but it was jacked by an ex-girlfriend,who sold it for almost nothing.-BITCH !

  • @tuuexx bring to her to court for a new 1 or the real worth if she stole it

  • xenomorf

  • how can you sleep whit those things loking at you

  • @SteveMcQueen24 - i'd have a room full of them

  • Yeah, that's about 2.5 to 3 grand worth of figures right there. I used to have an original in the box and then another one mint loose. Some fuckin' thieves ransacked my collection, ironically left my loose figure but broke it in several places. I glued and repaired, but it's not the same. Hold on to these, 70sToys! They are priceless, IMHO.

  • Nice figures.

  • why did they had to destroy these?!?!?!?!

  • @Anacondas101 Movie wise you mean? They where killing people, by capturing them jizzing up on them and turning them into eggs or incubators for their young.

  • @N9olan no, the dolls,

  • prometheus spoiler alert!!: the monsters are the space jockeys and the aliens!! and how space jockeys created the aliens and the crew they go to where ripley and the team visted in 1979 the alien planet

  • Anyone notice that they look like machines and resemble the architecture of the space jockeys ship?

  • @Skullking489 Next movie is about the Space Jockeys creating the Aliens.

  • ...Awesome Toy Scary Music...

  • I SOOOO wanted this toy when I was 5 yrs old but it kinda freaked me out and at the same time my parents wouldn't get it for me. Funny how they made a toy based off of an R rated movie back then. The craftsmanship still holds up to any toy to date. They still kick ass! I wonder how much they are going for now?

  • jedi council lol

  • Damn fine toys.....back when they cared about craftsmanship! Before electronic games took over.

  • i dont get that hot toys avp predators are more then 700.00 but these are only about 130.00 and are more then 30 years old avp predators are only 7

  • Two words. Bad.Ass.

  • damn bro i have one of these my granny bought me back in 1980 how much are these things worth to a colector today ?

  • These are wicked cool. All I could ask is for it to also fold up so that I could suspend one over my door for Halloween in the same way it hid in the shaft above Brent, and then lower it tail first in front of the unsuspecting guest!

  • ha awesome

  • I had this as a kid. It's somewhere in my family's storage I think still. Buried and waiting to be found again.

  • Why did they make toys of a creature from a film, which children couldn't even go and see?

  • @agfagaevart because most of the collectors are adults!!!

  • @amarieoflothlorien

Why put children in the TV commercials then?

  • any idea where i can find a dome for this figure? i heard there were replica domes out there. that's what i'd be looking for, due to the lower price.

  • i had one when i was young, the head glowed in the dark and i threw it in the closest because i was scared of it. now i bet it worth alot of money now!

  • Cool, I want one of those too!

  • fucking helll... 1:36

i remember when that happened in the movie i'd never shit bricks that bad in my life!!

    good tmes great movie :)

  • Thousands of dollars worth of aliens!

  • I WANT ONE!!!

  • one of the most bad ass toys ever made..i still can't believe they tried to get parents to buy this for their little kids lol! kenner trying to cash in on star wars i guess.

  • Creepy ass music

  • This was my favorite toy from the time I got it at Christmas (1979 or 80... not sure which) until I no longer played with toys. Man, I sure wish I still had it.

  • why does it have a human skull???

  • cool, still have mine, even the dome. Some of the spines on the back are a little loose, but the jaws still work fine. :)

  • the skull underneath is way too visible. it was only mildly possible to see in some shots in the movie. STill badass as all fuck, lol just saying is all

    nice vid

    cheers :)

  • Great use of the original Alien trailer music. Good one :o)

  • This would scare the hell out of a modern kid.

  • @Thor13332 no i am kid still but the only thing scared the crap out of me was the lamberts death because of all sounds

  • those 5 aliens look like they have grils

  • Damn, watching this video brought back alot of memories,my mom got me the 18"ALIEN Action figure when i was 5 years old! it was one of the coolest toys ive owned, compared to the the other 70's era monster toys that i had.

  • this music freaked me the hell out when i was a kid!!

  • This is what hell must be like.

  • When I was a kid, I really wanted one of these....back when Star Wars action figures were getting real popular. But, even as a kid I thought why the hell would they make this thing for kids and we can't even go see the movie?!?!

  • The background sound f/x sound like they're from the movie trailer.

  • No wonder I can't find any - you bought them all!!

  • This figure has good detail for the 70's, I have the hot toys one, but I want this one 2.

  • im getting that figure

  • these r the ORIGINAL alien figures, u cnt go bk much further than these ones

  • very cool .

  • @ 1:34, Shit! I wasn't prepared for that. Great! lol!

  • @ 1:34, Shit! I wasn't prepared for that. Great! lol!

  • guys I don't know which toy to get the sideshow collectible jason from pert 3 or this, help me out please!

  • @jamesboy223 this one

  • Had this nasty as a kid. I still remember my Dad hiding it behind the fireplace on Christmas. We were eating dinner when he told me he thought he saw one more present lying around. Certainly one way to make a big impact - six hours after everything else is open you find this guy behind the fireplace. I seem to recall his inner jaws being real metal? am I crazy?

Sadly, this fellow broke his arm and eventually got thrown out. Why do kids actually have to play with things!

  • 5 of em

  • I still have mine in the box. I got it when it came out.

  • I remember seeing one of these on display at a store (not a toy store, just out of the box as if someone thought it was just so cool) as a kid of 4 or 5 and being slightly creeped out by it, as if it had some sort of supernatural power. I had not seen the movie at the time but I thought at the time the movie must have been horrifying.

  • Looks like an Alien cocktail party.

  • WIKED SICK!

  • wow very cool!

  • Alien: All right team huddle up!

  • It is amazingly detailed and scary for a children's toy.

  • holy crap....i had one of these when i was a kid. i didn't think these were still around, or collectible. that toy was awesome, much better than the crap that passes for toys now. i wish i still had it....

  • Very cool

  • I sooo want one!!!

  • This is my dream toy! I've been wanting one for years! I finally found one mint in box in a vintage store. I went home to think about it, when I realised I had to have it, it was gone! I'm still looking of one!

  • awesome collection of 1979 alien figures these toys were sadly removed from toy shelves that same year because of complaints that hte figure was from an r rated movie and it was to ugly. WEll I have one and I think its just fantastic! :)

  • @atariman72 I still have mine as well. I got to see Alien when I was twelve and my parents got me the photo book and alien for christmas. I have a more detailed alien figure that is better constructed in my dinning room and the other is in my bedroom. I brought it to work with me for Halloween and it was a big hit.

  • @StuntmanJackR Cool mine has all the pieces and i will do a review soon!

  • awesome gotta have it and yes I have it too.

  • My brother got this toy for his fifth birthday.

  • I want one of those, so awsome

  • i had one of these. i was 4!!!!! what was wrong with my parents?? the head broke off.

  • they look like they are in a circle jerk

  • jesus the egg sound scared me so much

  • i wonder y all those alien movies after the 1st.. doesnt have eye socket on top of their head..

  • where could i get one of those

  • Awesome!

  • I have only one :-) I bought this for $90 in around 1983 (Imports).

The price soared up to $1000 with Box in the Japanese net several years ago.

  • Comment removed

  • how much do you want? :)

  • amazing!

  • Seen one for-sale on UK ebay i will get one he can then fight with my Kenners Bionic Big foot figure lol hahahah stunning collection have you got one in the box?

  • @JoanCollins2009 , I did a long time ago, but I sold it before digital camera were made, or else I would have filmed it. But I hope to get one soon.

  • @70sToys can you please review one.

  • @70sToys i got 1 but their head looks likea pennis

  • and the reason why i was asking if you can take the dome off is because i own one but i have no clue where it is XD

  • Thats awesome really well put together a real pleasure to watch all the 1979 aliens all in good order=)) great vid man 10/10

  • I love how they are all grouped up together its like they are planning to destroy the world XD

  • is the dome removable?

  • @solidfreak123 , yeah, the dome is removable.... it just sits on it's head without snapping on. That's the way Kenner made them. If you turn it upside down, the dome falls off. That's why the dome makes up more than half of the price on a complete ALIEN.

  • @70sToys The reason why i asked that why the dome is removable its because i lost mine and can't find it D:

  • @70sToys dam they had a toy for tha film in 79? thats awesome. its like my fav movie ever too

  • where or how can a Xenomorph see it has a skull it has eye holes but no eyes maybe Xenomorph's are Mutated humans?

  • lol they are planning to take over the universe

  • the greatest toy ever made

  • okay i am just confuzzeled lol why make a toyline based on a gruesom adult movie about a spidery create raping peaple so a snake thing is born by riping thier way out of there chest lol

  • I'd love to get my hands on the 1979 original toy but i cant find them for under $100 =/

  • I finally nabbed one of these yesterday. Loose but very nice and working with a glow head and all 'pipes'. Your little film inspired me to 'go for it' after many years of wanting one. Thanks for the inspiration!!

  • @Modmart , That's cool ! When I bought my first one, I got hooked... then I bought more.....a total of ten...6 complete, and 4 with missing domes.

I've been wanting an ALIEN since 1990, but could never afford it because at the time they went for $250. to $325. loose but complete and $500. to $600. dollars in a seal box. Now, a loose ALIEN can go for $100. to $200. (complete) and a sealed box ALIEN has gone up to $900. to $1,995.00. I bought all 10 loose ALIENS in 2009....lol

  • After many years of hoping to nab a decent loose ALIEN working with all parts I finally managed to yesterday! Seeing your amazing line-up really pushed me to grab an incredible toy. Thanks for the inspiration!!

  • cool now i want one

  • did giger really design these?!!?

  • Years later, they would make Aliens toys based on James Cameron's sequel

  • I was lucky enough to get one for 75 bucks.

Missing the clear dome, the fifth spike thing,

and its tail was not attached nor did it have a

box. But I waited until 1:00 in the morning just for that to come in, and when I heard it did I rushed to go get it at 1:00 in the morning lol.

  • Good God, FIVE!?

I sense a future YouTube raffle... Okay, I'm praying for one, how's that? lol

There's something really haunting about these guys... Love it.

  • @Blade3327 ....hahaha, you'll be the first to know if I ever hold a raffle :)

  • lol, thanks. Personally, getting first dibs would seem more appropriate, but we can talk later... give the rest of 'em a show... XD

  • Hey, where can I find this? Particularly online? This is a cool collection by the way!

  • HOW THE FUCK DID U GET FIVE!!!! WOW!!!!

  • @808boredomthc .......I had ten at one time, but I sold the other half before I could videotape them all together, yet these are the best ones.

  • wow very nice!

  • More of a work of art than a toy!

    Thanks for the video. 5*

  • Superb! I love this Kenner figure. Really one of the classic action figures and a shame it was not generally more available back in the early 1980s but it is obvious why it never proved a hit with parents. A pal of mine has a boxed one with the poster and I often ask to see it and work those jaws. Brilliant stuff.

  • WOW I love it when the mouth opens and the 2nd set of jaws pops out!!! GREAT VIDEO!
