  • Sweet little trailer, 2 thumbs up! how much did it cost? (not including your labor, just materials;)

    How many hrs do you think it took from start to finish? sorry for all the questions, but wondering if I could get someone to build one for me;

  • nice job

  • Great vid and great job on the camper! I have a few questions for you. Did you use a kit or your own plans? What material did you use for the outer shell? How thick was the wood that you used? Thanks!

  • Hey man, very awesome build.

    I'm thinking of doing the same, but I've got a few questions.

    What are the outside dimensions & interior space? (My car is only about 1500mm wide) And how much does it weight? And is it a kit, or did you make the design yourself? Thanks

  • Nicely done!

    2 questions: Is the first layer of the roof wood, and how do you go about bending it over the frame? Is it just a thin layer of plywood?

  • Looks Beautiful! the trailer looks on the small side compared to your truck. I want to build a trailer to pull behind my old bug(36hp) but it needs to be really light, is yours about 6' or so? I'm just trying to get an idea of the scale. Great Job!

  • Its so light I can push it by myself with ease.

  • @basscatcher08

    I want to build a trailer that I can pull with a motorcycle, so you think a motorcycle could get the job done? :D

  • That is a beautiful trailer. You like really young. Where do you live? I am in San Francisco. I am building a teardrop, but it is not as pretty as yours.

  • are you 12 volt for all the lighting?

  • Great job. Beautiful teardrop. I'm getting the itch to build one these of these too. Roughly, what did it cost you?

  • It cost me around $1000 but I already had the trailer that I had to modify and I knew someone that worked at the place where I purchased the aluminum and I got I for about half the price. It was a lot of fun to build.
