There are people out there that hate him because he is famous, but they are in the minority of the people that don't like him because he makes awful music. I'm going with lo-fi charm. If it were a different type of music, I'd definitely say it's just unrefined, but something more put-together wouldn't be such a compliment to the simplicity of the music. At least that's the case with me. Just a thought.

How am I supposed to form an opinion on it without watching it?.. I don't think you understand what I meant; I am not craving a green day video, I just prefer the more imaginative, narrative approach that I asscociate with his music and that is in other Johnny Flynn videos, like the ones for Tickle Me Pink and Leftovers, which are fairly lo-fi and low-budget too, I would imagine.

I actually prefer this to the album version. I just think it sounds more Johnny Flynn. In fact, while it is one of the best albums I have ever owned, quite a few of the songs exist (or existed) elsewhere in versions I like more.
