naa. skate runs a about 30 frames per second.

skate 2 runs at 60 frames per second.

skate 2 has way better graphics that skate.

the thing i like about "skate" is most of its realism. like how you aren't getting like pathetic unreal amounts of air off the smallest object like in all the tony hawk games. and how you can't pull off like 10,000 tricks off just a little luanch ramp. skate is way better hands down.

alright. imma shed some light on this "tony hawk vs. skate" debate. you can either agree or disagree w/me. in terms of realism i would say skate is the business. however, for an out-of-this-world experience tony hawk would be the game. then again the choice is up to us - the consumers. i say go out and experience both worlds. props to EA for this joyride. next thing you know you'll actually feel the pain of a bail when you do in-game. haha. happy gaming.

ok this is my view on the whole "tony hawk vs. skate" argument. in terms of realism skate is the business. in terms of the out-of-this-world experience tony hawk is the right choice. however it all depends on you - the consumer. all i can say is appreciate the choice given to you by the industry. taste everything on the table that's all there is to it. happy gaming.

wow horrible... this is the pre-rendered version of the game meaning that it was still being tested and the graphics on the pre-render were insanely good. this isnt even how the actual game looks due to the fact that the pre-render would get very laggy.

I have skate for Ps3 and it is much better an tony hawk. the city is so large i get lostin it. Just yesterday i was in a demo in a back alley that opened up to a skate park with a sweet jersey barrier. I get hyped when i drop down something i have never done before. I makes skating fun again.
