Whats next? I guess they will decide to tear down Cinderella Castle to build some stupid mouse ears in its place. That what I think the new audio is equivalent to. You don''t even feel like you are in a futuristic city anymore now you feeel like you are at some generic amusement park. The audio just sounds like a big commercial for the attractions in Tomorrowland.

I agree with almost EVERYONE here. The new narration is AWFUL! I mean, it's totally not fit for a futuristic theme park like that, it's more of a narrator for a kids' film. We can all thank the stoners of those people who naively put the new, depressing, forgettable narration for making a dangerous turn like that! The magic is REALLY disappearing.... :'(

Why does everyone hate the new one so much? The new one reminds me of Disneyland's old PeopleMover and the original WDW audio. It's supposed to be a grand circle tour of Tomorrowland. The new narration really defines "tour". Unlike the old one that yelled where you were going next and random outer space stuff to make you do what your supposed to on the ride.

And Roz WAS voiced by a man, Bob Peterson. He was also the voice of Mr. Ray in Finding Nemo.

Excellent video! Its interesting watching the WedWay with all teh construction walls up by space mountain. As for the new narration, I like it, its more relaxing and not so in your face like the previous narration. It allows you to enjoy the ride and take a load off from walking around the park.

I found an error in his narration.

In the Carusel of Progress portion, he said that four families would greet them but it is really the the same family in four different time periods.

BTW, I miss the old Narration, it was FAR more creative.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the first time that Disney has actually gotten rid of the backstory for an attraction. Think about it: the 1971 attraction was a display of a future transportation system and the 1994 attraction was a trip around a futuristic city that never was. In this version, they admit within the first minute that all they're doing is taking you by other attractions. Very interesting move on Disney's part, and it will be interesting to see where they go from here.

Ooookkkkk. I'm not hater of change as long as that change is for the better. Unfortunately this one isn't. It's not terrible, but it's not memorable either. After watching it was left with a feeling of, well, meh.

The style of narration isn't bad, there's just nothing to take away with you. The old narration had classic lines like "paging Mr Morrow..." and the like that though groanworthy, held a special place in our heart. To me this is another attempt at generic Walmarting by Disney

There's nothing wrong with the new narration. I see it as somewhat of a throwback to the old 1970s/1980s-era ORAC-1 Commuter Computer narration.

Not everything is going to stay the same forever at Disney's parks, folks. That's always been the way of it and always will be.

I agree with you as well. I think that Disney was actually thinking of the long time Disneyana crowd because the voice over is so much like the ORAC-1 tracks at WDW combined with the early 80s lady at Disneyland.

@disneynut06 Orac one was more emersive than this new audio. Just the mear fact of Comuter Computer put you in a futuristic city setting. This new narration is just a guy talking. There is no thought put into this. I feel more emersed at Six Flags.

Completely lacked any sort of creativity or diversity. Humorless, forgettable, worthless, annoying, overly effeminate, repetitive tone of voice, just plain awful. I have nothing good to say about it. Nothing. It's horrible. They should be embarrassed. I hope that someone at WDW who can change the spiel reads the comments here, but I'm sure nobody with any sort of decision making clout cares, and I'm sure that the imagineers are all proud of their shoddy work to change any of it.
