Too much LSD, Heroin and botched scripting. I think this was as much a flipping the bird to their film commitment as anything. Too little Beatles on film, too much freak show and bad attempts at bad British humor. The Lads were already splintering by this time and I don't think any of them really cared what was being done as long as there was a lot of Acid, Coke and Weed and of course Heroin to help keep John semi coherent. Remove the Beatles and its the worst waste of film stock since Ed Wood.
