  • but dont they say if you heat whey powder, you change the molecules of it and its nor really whey anymore so less protein? :o

  • I made these 2 days ago for my boyfriend and me (he is bulking up, I am slimming down. It is great that they are good for both of us! Usually I have to watch him eat what I bake :)

They turned out delicious but more like bread than fluffy muffin (we used one whole egg and 100ml liquid egg whites).

They have already gone so I made a new batch today and followed the advice to add some applesauce (homemade in my case) to add moisture!

They are incredible!!! Thank you so much!

  • Unsweetened applesauce is also a good egg substitute if you're worried about losing moisture. 1/4 cup for each egg to be replaced. And I'll definitely have to try this recipe. I always find that the oddest/grossest looking foods often taste the best. Cheers!

  • A high protein muffin perfect for men who builds their muscle in the gym. Interesting recipe.

  • Lee you should have added a stick of butter or a 1/2 cup of oil for moisture! lol...jk

  • hahahaha your muffins. anyway, I made them same time you did, They are wonderful!!!!!!!! I cant have bread or flour cause my lapband urgery. These were perfect.... I have a recipe for protein pancakes if ya want it.

  • Oat is now find out too much iron, be careful

  • @cracklinnut

If you can't get oat bran, just use the same amount of oatmeal instead. Just put it in the blender to make it finer ground similar to oat bran.

  • :O Delicious

  • im curious, whats into sugar free maple syrup? maple syrup is usually 100% pure sugar (simple high gi carb from maple, not as in actual white refined sugar)

  • @StoutNerd

The actual ingredients will vary depending on the brand, but most have artificial sweeteners in them.

  • @cracklinnut

You can get complete meal plans and over 200 recipes at MetabolicCookingProgram*com

  • whats the nutritional info?

  • @TheRealWm

According to the Metabolic Cooking Program there is 20 grams of protein, 22 grams of carbs, and 2 grams of fat. But that's going to vary depending on the size of the muffins you make. But it has a well balanced ratio of protein and carbs with low fat.

  • Good to see people eating the yolk

  • @leemhayward also thanks for the video on the bench press technique. I've been doing it wrong!

  • Thanks Lee. I am loving your videos. I bought the cook books thanks to you. I hope you get commission!!

  • @Phlashbox

Good for you, I'm sure you'll get a lot of benefit from them!

  • do you think these would be nice without the blueberries

  • @SkillerJ0el

Sure, the berries are totally optional.

  • Yeah I just bought his cookbook also. It's really awesome! A staple for any dedicated training regimen. That face you made at the end of the countdown was CLASSIC!!! LOL!

  • Yeah I just bought his cookbook also. It's really awesome! A staple for any dedicated training regimen.

  • I made these yesterday (but with the 3 egg whites like in the original recipe). They really nice! Maybe it's just my oven, but if I'd left them in for 25mins they would've been rock hard. Mine only took 15-20mins. They're very dense...one will definitely fill you up. :)

  • lee, you made me hungry

  • Hi Lee

im on my cutting stage, would you recommend this be a great treat for my cheat day?

    thanks!

  • Man with the way you eat and workout your going to live until your like 100!

  • Can't wait for the next video lee

  • Hey lee I just wanted to say that you are really helpful and i've been trying your recipes and they work really good and your the first person to respond to my question I really appreciate that thanks man

  • Hi lee, I have an omlette every morning, any tips on using a lower fat option than butter for making sure the egg doesn't stick to the pan?

  • @BrokenBrilliance

You can use Pam spray, that works great. But recently I've gotten a set of "Green Pans", their website is

green-pan*com and these are awesome. You can literally cook eggs and everything else in the frying pan with no fat or spray and the food doesn't stick. I love em!

  • Lee, I saw on one of your videos that you tore a bicep, and the same thing happened to me two days ago while trying to help a guy get his car out of a ditch. I'm not sure yet how massive is the damage, I'll know tomorrow, but a doctor that examined me said he thinks the tendon is not ruptured. Who knows. Now, I wanted to ask how your recovery is going without the surgery, will your arm ever be 100%? Love your videos!

  • @GeneralMitu

It's on the mend and I can pretty much do all my regular exercises again. But my strength isn't 100% yet. I've known guys who have torn biceps before and they are back to their normal training without surgery. But it could take a long time as in several months.

  • @leemhayward Thanks for the answer. My doctor just today recommended surgery, said that I'm young and active and that it would be best to reattach it. Going under the knife on Thursday. I hope it works out without complications. Damn it, I won't be lifting no cars in the future :).

  • @GeneralMitu

That's good, in the long run you'll be better off getting the surgery. Here in Canada health care is ridiculous, granted it's "free" but you get what you pay for in terms of service. I went to my doctor to get my tear checked out and he said it would be a several month waiting list to just get seen by a surgeon to get it checked out.

  • @leemhayward I'm from Croatia and the doctor here was really great, scheduled the surgery immediately. But, granted, I did contact his through a family friend, and he's a friend of his, so I don't know how it would go through completely normal channels. Anyway, I just hope the surgery will turn out good, with no complications. Best wishes to you on your continued rehab, but I can clearly see that you're not lacking in determination and will, so I'm sure you'll get the best possible results.

  • "bluebery" "bluestar" coinsedence i think not

  • Fark your built like a tank! Great video lee, will definity try this!

  • could i substitute the protein powder with creatine monohydrate powder??? an if so how much??

  • @imdrunk101 aum dont do that

  • wow lees putting on weight

  • @booiiboot who cares

  • Sounds good Lee. I'll be cooking these up this weekend.

  • fruits or vegies that have natural sugar are good or bad? should i eat alot of them or not alot?

  • MORE COOKING VIDEOS

  • those muffins arent the only things that look hot and delicious in this video

  • @leemhayward I thought stevia was an all natural sweetener

  • Lee I bought this cookbook ages ago, is this the new one? also does it have any new recipe?

  • @yanisa852

Yeah, Metabolic Cooking is different from the Anabolic Cooking Program. There are more recipes and it's a complete fat burning meal plan system. Not just a "cook book". If you are looking for more variety and an even better meal management system I'd recommend you check out Metabolic Cooking.

  • @booiiboot he has before:)

  • looking goood

  • looks like u shit into a cup lol

  • if lee guest starred on a cooking show he'd be about 3 times bigger than the host

  • @booiiboot Lmao

  • What is stevia? Or watever he said?

  • @mymora09

A natural sweetener. It's practically carb free, instead of using regular sugar.

  • @mymora09

    It's an artificial sweetener.

  • @leemhayward actually its a natural sweetener ;) doesnt have chemicals like splenda and all that crap.its 300 times sweater than table sugar and has virtualy no effect on blood glucose levels.

  • @leemhayward NATURAL sweetener

  • @mymora09 Agave nector is a better alternative for any sugar product, you should try that

  • @harrisric128 agave has as much high fructose as high fructose corn syrup though it is low glysimic index...

  • @Shaun2382 The fact that it doesnt spike your blood sugar as much is why I think it is a better choice

  • i wish i had those instead of these gomddamn egg whites

  • Lee you never cease to amaze me.. alot of these guy make videos to feed their egos but your video have really helped me become a healthy and knowledgeable.... i went from being a chubby know nothing to being at the top of my game.. Thank you
