Yuppymoney, Your correct that money doesn't equal happiness, however the lack of sufficient funds to live a certain way can the biggest stress in life. Having some "control" over your future just makes life better. Don't settle. All of us can do more to live better.
Rich people don't want to admit that money does equals happiness because they are not poor and they don't know how it feels. I use to be poor and I wasn't happy at all and my life was so full of problems and you are not lucky with life either. Now that I have money I'm happier that I could ever be when I was poor and I don't have problem anymore. The more money you have the happier you'll be in life and the more loved. I don't see homeless people getting married or happy either...
Exactly right, godlesssouls. Why do you suppose that is - this obsession with 1. chasing money, and 2. pretending we don't really chase money? Why can't people just say that it DOES make one happy (to a large extent), but put the focus on doing good with it? That's exactly where I stand. I want more so that I can do more good.

So, I wish I could live a thousand years, and that people like you would PayPal me every extra cent that is apparently causing them so much distress.
Google powerkills/20TH.HTM and maybe you can also dream of some ways to get to the root of this problem (given enough money, which you don't want).
If all you people can think to do is to corrupt yourselves with luxuries, then I agree - too much money would be a bad thing.

AND, if you want to do a lot of good, you will need a lot of money and a lot of time.
