I think that bubble monkey should be Mr. saturn with a balloon around his nose. Lucas should replace luigi, pokey should replace bowser, Mr. saturn could replace the Koopa (But mr. saturn's could still replace the turtle shells) The bubble monkey could replace DK jr, jeff could replace Yoshi, Paula should replace peach. ANd that's all I can think of.

im trying to edit the characters and every time i play NOTHING HAS CHANGE.. what am i doing wrong? I changed a couple colors and saved it but i cant seem to get it to work (tried several different methods).. getting really frustrated.

As long as you're editing and saving the results right, I have some ideas as to what else might be messed up. There are sets of sprites for each distance from the camera. The distance level you see behind the character you're controlling is the SECOND closest, not the first. If you're editing the nearest, you'll only see the changes when you pass that character so they're really close to the screen. Try to fill every pixel to one color to test if you're editing them in the right places.

Well, I've never said that Earthbound was a bad game. Super Smash Bros. isn't what made me like the series either. It just got me interested, is all. See, like most people, I didn't have a clue as to who Ness was, so I searched around the web and I found out about Earthbound. At first, it seemed pretty stupid to me, but after buying it and playing it, I enjoyed playing it a lot. I didn't like it because of the SSB series, I liked it because it was fun to play.

I can for some reason, sense rationality in you.) overhype or overrate the game because of Ness's appearance in Super Smash Bros. Same thing happened to Fire Emblem. SNES versions are getting popular now for some reason when the SNES versions sucked, as a SNES expert who's played many games, the SNES version of Fire Emblem sucked. At most, I'll allow it as good, never great though.

Well, all I know is that I had fun playing this game and that's the reason I liked it. The SSB series was just a big advert and it also got me interested in the Starfox games (although I can't get over how much of a ripoff it is of Star Wars). And even though I haven't played the Fire Emblem games, I know that everyone has their different opinions. Hell, there are even people that liked Zelda's Adventure for the CD-I.

But Ness was only considered a REALLY high tier in the original Super Smash Bros. game. In Melee, he was a pretty low tier.
