yeah, that's the thing about grappling arts that require grips like that.. sure u can grab their wrist, but in a real fighting breaking a wrist grab = uber easy if u know wat u're doing...

still sambo is one of the most efficient art i've seen.

Not only that but a sleeve grip is tight and easy to hold,even if the guy doesn't try to break it and he's just moving his arm it might get off..It's more of a responsibility to keep a grip on a wrist (As it might be sweaty,might be too thin ect ect) then a solid sleeve grip
