Why cannot you just accept that there both good and they are very well built and thought out eco-systems. I like the Mac OS for many reasons, I prefer it to Linux and Windows because nothing's in your face and it just feels right for me. You might like other systems perhaps due to power management or games. You could cure cancer on any system, so why don't you get to it!

The only thing that holds back iChat from being used by it's mac users is it not being able to use MSN & Social Sites.

I'm sure apple will decide to allow the social network sites but allowing MSN is another story ( more political than anything I'm sure )

I would think you would have to be a ichat user sadly. Because the only Apple software legal on the PC is Safari and iTunes. I know, iChat should work with PC's, because not everyone has Mac, they should, but they just don't got the money for one, or they just like the feel of Windows, but learning how to use a Mac is not that hard.

Wow, why would you advertise such silly features. The only good thing I've found so far about mac software is iChat's ability to do video with people on AIM, something for that some reason, almost all programs on Windows lack (besides the actual AIM client). Otherwise its still for silly people who couldn't figure out how to use windows without getting errors and viruses.

Sure, your background has to be in one color ( as a wall for example ). Didn't you understand how the application works ? iChat finds this color and delete it, If there's more than one color it doesn't work very well and make some stranges spots behind you.

but there are versions for mac of almost every good soft..

and if there are no version for mac, you can always run windows on your mac using BootCamp, Parallels Desktop or VMWare Fusion... but the Mac must have an intel processor...

search on google about running windows on a mac and you'll probably find some good tutorial...
