@beatleme2 Samson was a Nazarite. I believe I covered that in the video. I don't know why the Nazarites had long hair. That part is not explained in the Bible. There are NO Nazarites alive today. Jesus was NOT a Nazarite. He was a Nazarene, meaning He lived in Nazareth. Samson is not an excuse for a man to have long hair TODAY. It is a shame for a man to have long hair. I thought that this topic was interesting being that we are constantly influenced by the media of today, and that the media during the ancient times were using the same marketing tatics that is used today. Also, that it is a shame for a woman to have a shaved head. Women are supposed to have long hair. The custom that we don't have, is long hair men, and short hair women. You don't get into the Kingdom based on their merit. Actually we are supposed to be narow minded. That is an effect of walking on the narrow way. See Matthew 7:13-14 for details. Do you believe that sin is a small thing? Can it separate you from God?
Have you heard about the 8 yo little girl Akiane Kramarik that saw Jesus and painted him? The painting of Jesus showed that Jesus hair was a lot shorter.
@msavenko1 People have idolized these paintings. I believe that is at the heart of it. If there was no idolatry, then it should be easy to accept the Biblical truth. At least to someone that is Born Again, and seeking truth. I can understand why lost sinners reject it. They reject Jesus. Why not also reject the truth, that he did not have long hair. The hair issue is much smaller, than the rejecting of the person of Jesus Himself.

There is no mention in the Gospel accounts. This is an argument from silence. So, we can't make it doctrine. I think it, at least, implies that Jesus had short hair. My solid proof comes from the verse I listed
