They rebuilt an Amber Room, I think they ought to recreate the Normandie cruise liner!! with as much original stuff as possible - the originals or recreations from the best French artisans.
This is French Lines ss Normandië. Inn 1938 she was the world largest liner and ship at 83.000 grt. And main competitor to Britain's Queen Mary. She was called ss Lafayette in 1941, when the US marine took here over fore converting to troopship during WW2. During the conversion to troopship duty she caught fire and burned fore days. At the end she capsized and was declared a total lose.
