I think this guy is connected to the fire that the Fatal 5 set. Jigsaw says "All the people you've burned with your act.' He may have wittnessed the fire being set and did nothing. Just a theory.

This trap was just overkill. The numbers on the wall and poison was enough. But glass on the floor plus being covered in flammable jelly while trying to find an impossible combination (plus on the ceiling) with a candle with barely any wax? Come on...really?

Im the type of person who cries when i see other ppl cry so I don't watch SAW b/c I love seeing ppl tortured but more b/c Saw makes you think...question your morals...what's right and what's wrong you know...for the longest ive been struggling about whether or not jigsaw's a murder or not...and then think about his victims...rappist,con-artist,d­rug addicts...makes it harder to view them as victims even though they are.

That doesn't make sense what you're saying. The guy CHOSE to live because he tried to figure out the code, but caught on fire. So he didn't choose to die. In fact I haven't seen any of them that do. It was his mistake for being careless with the candle. Also, That poison would have at least givin him two hours after it was entered into his body., And it takes 45 minutes to wake up from anestisa. So he had over an hour to solve the thing, But he diden't realize that.
