i didnt have an account with ea so it wouldnt create an account for me on my ps3 so i went to ea.com and made one by creating account with psn and as i got signed in to ea on the computer i was able to connect on the ps3

ok I'm trying to play on my xbox, when I choose anything that involves online it pops up saying that i need to accept the terms for the licence, i choose accept terms and it takes me to create account, it shows me my email but when i type in my password to my existing account it says faild to create account. @joffy60 This was actually an issue I had with XBOX 260 version. All I did was went to the ea profiles site and found I needed to create a profile just to keep playing. After that it worked. I went through the router steps, all of my stuff was set that way already.

The real way to fix this is:

1. Play about 3 minutes of campaign to get connection going.

2. Have a frien invite you to multiplayer or join session and your good to go.

Hey if anyone wants to try to solve this for PC then this method only works if you have virgin media security. Each time you want to play multiplayer, before loading the game turn off virgin media security firewall. This has helped me a lot. Also many other games have this problem. Just turn of virgin media firewall. Easy.

To resolve it, configure your Switch:

Step 1 - First configure a Static IP for your Xbox

Step 2 - Open UDP for port 88 and UDP & TCP for port 3074

It happened to me, I didn't give a care in the world about my progress on it cos I only got it last week and havnt got far!!! I just went on storage and deleted the bad company 2 actual profile, put bad company back in and let it update!!! I still have my rank online as 7 and the acheivements, but it does delete your campaign!! But make sure to redownload things as well!! Hope my way of fixing it came in handy :)x

i cant play either, it takes many hours before it connects to the EA server, its prety damn annoying, and im training for BF3 and i cant train for BF3 if i cant connect online!

Hope they fix this problem soon, but if not, it means that they are ONLY working on BF3 and thats prety damn ridicilous, because these guys have people enough to fix this problem, usualy its just a small bug on the server and it shouldnt take more than a few hours or maybe a couple of days to fix it!!
