so, to conclude...though I definitely think it's a possibility what I state in the former, I do not think this situation can be managed, sustained, and manipulated much longer. In New York State, debt is being rolled into other debt with higher interest..and everyone knows that austerity measures will blight the economy and bring chaos. Stimulus is running out as well...so my guess is that they'll run the printing press, and exacerbate things more.

It is already the worst ecological disaster in US history and like you said, the worst is yet to come. I heard the amount of oil in that strata is roughly 2 billion barrels. At the given flow rate it will take over 2 years for this oil volcano to stop. How do we get ready? People in that area should probably leave if they can. The US government has failed miserably.

3) A "real" nuclear accident

4) A legitimate nuke to seal the Gulf of Mexico hole.
