I'm heading to AC tomorrow to play these games. I am NOT Phil effin' Ivey. But it's always good to be reminded of that before I leave. Thank you. (Oh, and I find your phrasing and swearing hilarious. Don't change!)
Do you tend to depolarize your 3-betting range in say like 1/2 or 2/5 games? I find myself depolarizing much more at least preflop than I would say at 100nl online.
I know lotsa tards out there waiting to eat up garbage. (narrowing your range is good advice, but generic advice that everyone should know). post some results
I said nothing about content. I agree completely with the content. It's the main reason I'm able to beat up on hapless 1/2 players. All I'm saying is you need to watch how you're presenting the information when representing a professional business venture like NYCPS. Swear all you want for all I care. I'm just making a suggestion to help with your presentation. Best of luck to you. May your fishing be prosperous.
@spikeraw22 I have started cursing less in my life and in my videos. A statement is a statement, just because it has profanity doesn't mean it doesn't have value. Ignoring information because it's not presented in a format that suits your definition of "professional" doesn't really make sense. But yes, i will tone down the cursing.
So you're on the button and it's folded to you. 2 total nits in the blinds.
Narrow your range? lol
Phil Ivey plays 67s profitably UTG because he owns all competitors. It's not because I don't play 500k buy in games that I can't play suited connectors in medium stakes games
You are completely missing the point of this video. Most people aren't good enough to realize that the blinds are nits or how to properly adjust to the nits when they 3bet you from the big blind. If you feel comfortable its perfectly acceptable to open your range. For most amateur players when they tend to open their range without truly understanding the game they begin to hemorrhage cash.
What type of stakes are you talking about? I feel comfortable opening my range at NL50 and higher because I get a feel for players tendencies but lower than that the only way to go is to be a nit and outplay everybody based on better hand selection indeed. Vs bad players opening my range is indeed a bad idea from my experience
But I assume your advice does not apply to micro/low stakes

Regardless of the content, it's hard to take you seriously when your presentation is laced with profanity. Be a professional man.

Finally we get a teacher that is articulate and knows what he is talking about. Not some mumbling half wit that plays completely on gut feeling.
