  • What's so special about ninroots?

  • I get crop there now quite regular, you need jazbay grapes.

  • I went for a stroll yesterday and this plant next to the river started moaning at SO I HAD TO PICK IT!

  • Sweet

  • Cool spot.

    Thanks for showing.

  • i dont like to stand around these for long.I think id go crazy.

  • so thats whhat them glowing things are, thaught they were a bug in my game XD

  • Do these shits regrow?

  • needs to be crimson nirnroot for quest. 30 of 'em in blackreach.

  • Hey it's Nirnia.

  • NOOBS play oblivion before skyrim and it will all chain together for example ninroot. And also deadra stuff, just sayin theres too many cod fans that hopped over to skyrim

  • @rasmusbeggar ya man they just too mainstream... hipster fag

  • @0Damali0 wtf r u talking about? oh well i guess u play mw3

  • @rasmusbeggar no lol i hate mw3... u were just complaining like a hipster and it sounded pretty gay

  • @0Damali0 sounded pretty gay? when did i talk to you??

  • @rasmusbeggar CoD fans? you mean to much battlefaggots

  • @gerry7man555 wut? both games suck

  • perfect! im on a quest where im required to collect 10 nirnroots! thanks!

  • why do they make a noise?

    someone plz explain...

  • @randomstuffz2 They're a fairly special magic plant. The sound is mostly to help you locate them.

  • @randomstuffz2 No one really knows for sure.

  • whats so important about the nimroot anyway?

  • @surfmeister713 Alchemical reagent. Can be used to make nice stuff like invisiblity potions and such.

  • I used to collect nirnroot, until i took an arrow to the knee.

  • Since it's a farm, does it respawn there?

  • @Verrsus.... i think all plants respawn after awhile so i see no reason the farm stuff wouldn't..

  • So thats what that strange noise is. I totally didnt know that. I thought it was like an easter egg of some sorts and that if you hear the niose there is secret stuff nearby. sigh =/

  • @PwnzorBob Does the red car go... three times as fast?

  • Comment removed

  • that farm is also the place that sanity goes to die.

  • @canashblacob

You just had to , didn't you?

    Dick.

  • @Turtan4 calm down my fellow man there's no need for language like that.

  • For those interested in the lore behind this apparent random outcrop of nirnroot, there is a journal you'll encounter in Blackreach (later in the main story line) where the author talks about how he bartered cultivation knowledge of nirnroot to Avrusi Sarethi for space on his farm to conduct related nirnroot research.

  • @Warkive the corpse you find that journal with is none other than the nirnroot guy from oblivion, the woman who owns that farm is his apprentice. People must live a long fucking time in the elderscrolls universe.

  • @brent0007 They're both elves - Sinderion was Altmer, and she is too (or possibly Dunmer..?)

  • @brent0007 Elves do, not humans though I think

  • Havent found a practical use for these yet, although my riteaid loves me. literally bought 3 boxes of Tylonol since i started playing. damn things give me instant migrains

  • what so great about ninroots

  • @misfits12o in oblivion nirnroots never regrows which makes nirnroots very rare but i dont know does nirnroots regrow in skyrim.

  • @Multi3mr3 They say it doesn't I don't knwo for sure but I hope it does I think the crimson nirnroot in the blackreach mushroom cave area to regrow I have 22 just need 8 more

  • many thanks

  • @PwnzorBob Reminds me of resident evil

  • Crimson Nirnroot is better.

  • nirnroot sovngarde

  • i just thought, why do they stop making the sound when you pick them?

  • @motherofgod4 Hate to break it to you pal, but I finished the alchemist's quest without even finding this place and still got a few dozen afterward and some of the alchemy vendors do 'occasionally' have some Nirnroots so there is far more than 25-30, but thanks for the location anyway.

  • For those asking what its for:

For one of the misc quests (a woman in riften) needs u to find 20nightshade 20 nirnroot and 20 something else i cant remember. Only when u find these 60 flowers will i complete her quest.

    Skyrim is awesome!!

  • what can u do with nirnroot what so special about it and whats so special about unusual chem/gem

  • I'm on a drug called charlie sheen, yeah winning

  • @CyberSecurityCentre No they aren't you thick prick. The CRIMSON NIRNROOTS DO NOT GROW BACK NEITHER DO THE NORMAL NIRNROOTS YOU FAT BASTARD.

  • @shane1637 rage much :)

  • @sckizman Yes hehehe.

  • @shane1637 crimson nirnroots definitely grow back, i'm also pretty sure normal ones do too.

  • @jordanmayrocksyah Normal ones do not whatsoever.

  • @jordanmayrocksyah yeah sorry but the regular nirnroot specifically don't grow back. someone tells you this ingame

  • @44ch1m At this farm the normal ones grow back.

  • @motherofgod4 dude this isnt oblivion unlike oblivion nirnroots grow back in about a month ingame time

  • @CyberSecurityCentre green dont glow black

  • @motherofgod4 the red ones are at a place during the main quest that are for a side quest and are called "crimson nirnroot"

  • why did they not have this in oblivion for the Nirnroot quest

  • God dammit. I thought it grew back, so I sold all of it that I harvested here...

  • You would think it would have been a hydroponics farm!

  • I remember this... this is east of the base of the throat of the world, isn't it?

  • Nirnroot's voice reminds me of headache.

  • i need red nirnroots,16 more .. any idea where to find them? They probably grows underground i found like 14 of those and i need i think 30 for some alchemy discovery whatever quest haha

  • Nyanroots anyone?

  • omg NIRNROOTS!!

  • Does she attacks you after you stole her harvest? she may be a poor farmer, you know.

  • @motherofgod4 dudr you know what he mans dont be a smartass, and hes right the "green" nirnroot grows back but the red ones in he dwarven ruin of blackreach dont there are only 30 red nins and infinite regular nirns

  • wats up with the music

  • Its funny because you can't really classify nirnroots as "rare" anymore. They are much more common than in oblivion.

  • Thumbs down for Drauger Deathlord

  • @motherofgod4 The green ones are just called Nirnroots, the red ones are called Crimson Nirnroots.

  • shit what are these things used for? i found 1 and i ate it :(

  • @motherofgod4 the red one ( crimson nirnroot ) are a subspecies of the normal green nirnroots

  • The one specific location it mentions is this farm >.<

  • Also, I do see the quest you're talking of now, but it's a "Miscellaneous objective", 20 deathbell, 20 nightshade, and 20 nirnroot. Given Crimson Nirnroots ability to grow back I'd say nirnroot may have that, plus the guide doesn't give any definitive numbers for it, only one specific location to find it, and "Usually by riverbeds or shores". 30+ Crimson Nirns in a big cave though, I'd put the total normal nirns in the whole of skyrim wayyyy over 25, plus a possiblity of regrowth, so...hmmm

  • The quest is "A return to your roots" and it can only be started once you pick up a crimson nirnroot in the Dwemer citiplex of Blackreach, only able to be found during the main quest "Elder Knowledge" or Deadric quest "Discerning the transmundane" This cavern being the only place to find them, there being 30+ and they can grow back in a couple weeks, so infinite basically.

  • Crimson nirnroot can only be found in one place though I believe, it says so in my guide. I'm sure there are a lot more than 25 though, it's the perfect poison amplifier, I'm sure they wouldn't leave you with only 5 nirnroots and an awesome alchemy skill...I shall look up the total amount..

  • @motherofgod4 Cause the red ones are called Crimson nirnoots....

  • Nirnroots are dangerous in the game...I found that any animal near them...will be bigger...i had a mudcrab nearly as big as me.

  • @boo0167 I found a really big mudcrab half my size, with the normal large one, and it's babies in a small pond, and after I killed them all, you could see a mudcrab skeleton that they were all laying around, that was twice as massive as the biggest one there. Scary stuff :(

  • @b33p3rz Yeh i know....I just hope i don't find a frost troll near one...

  • @boo0167 Just hope you don't find a Draugr Deathlord.. if you find a HUGE one, watch our for his Da and Fus do rah.. *shivers*

  • @motherofgod4 Good point.

  • @b33p3rz i found that too, but you couldnt search the big one, it was crazy huge though

  • Thanks for the location, dude. I'm doing a quest right now and I need twenty of them. This will help me so much. Thanks again.

  • how come this is a guy going threw a spec op mission in mw3??????

  • @motherofgod4 There are definitely way more than 25 nirnroot in the game, FYI. I have 40-50 nirnroot now and I haven't even checked the area mentioned in this video.

  • whats the use of alchemy besides temporary potions?

  • because that is the normal one the and red one is call Crimson Nirnroot

  • whats the nirnroots for?

  • @motherofgod4 Green are regular nirnroot, as far as the population of tamriel knows, there is no other type of nirnroot, so there's no point calling them "green".

  • @Skarloe There are some red nirnroot, but they are in some dwarfen swamp place under ground.

  • @motherofgod4 what are they for?

  • maaaaaaaan... I've been using up my nirnroots in alchemy. I hope they grow back o.o

  • @rabbit4400 Im pretty sure they grow back because i though they grew back in oblivion and it would be stupid if they didn't.

  • @rabbit4400 Your own fault for being dumb, and no they don't grow back you thick fuck.

  • @rabbit4400 me too, what are they used to?

  • you took that places only source of light! how dare you? >:(

  • what's the nirnroot for? i found quite a few, but i dont know what to do with them

  • @AzeriXify mother of god dont sell them, they are irreplaceable and you need 20 of it and 20 nightshade plus 20 more deathbells for a quest

  • @kennyneopets I know, they're the same as oblivion however when I was making my playthrough I kinda ate one............ but there are 30 in the whole game apparently.

  • @motherofgod4 lol i was using mother of god to reply to Azeri

  • @kennyneopets you should've said "mother of god didn't sell them," lol :P

  • @AzeriXify It's not the same as in Oblivion. It's an alchemy ingredient used for invisibility potion creation

  • @Thunderbolt56 You're completely wrong, it CAN be used for that but it's just pointless it's better to take it to the alchemist in Riften.

  • its so funny cuz the game has been out for like 2 days and there is already alot of vids about itXD

  • @Themicke90able That's expected, unless you don't know the way YouTube works. As soon as a new game comes out, YouTubers make videos of the new game because that's what people search for.
