You see the people who really suffered from Zelaya are the hard working people. Not only low class but middle class as well. I myself would not mind having reelections, i just do not want the asshole of zelaya in presidency still.
So the people who are not lucky, and don't have job, but are really trying.....don't deserve anything? Lower class, middle class, poverty level, don't you think we all need cooperate for a better HOnduras. Don't you think Honduras should have their own constitution that only the Hondurians can decide what is good for them?
Dont you think that if our constitution was respected by government officials would be working ideally? Thats what we believe, and as you mention, this is OUR constitution, if everything that has happened has been done according to OUR constitution, why are we considered enemies to democracy? If there are millions that are standing up against Zelaya, the same millions that are living in fear right now because of him, if our people want him out, isnt that democracy to you?
Lets go to the Basic.. by exiling Zelaya from Honduras at gunpoint...is that democracy to you? If he had charges against, why not arrest him and take him to the supreme court? Wouldn't that be a democratic way of doing this? What Michelliti did, was to take a country under siege and the whole world is watching.
Oh , Yes, sure! And I bet US DEA is angry! Its obvious that US DEA is very interested on protecting USA from drugs!Look at the job they ´ve done on Mexico! Aaahahaha!
A demostration was hld 2 eeks ago at Buenos Aires, thousands of Argentinians crowded the streets of Buenos Aires in support of the struggle of the Honduran People.A delegation was sent to Honduras and they took contact with the "Frente Nacional" activists.A conference of LatinAmerican nationalist and antimperialist organizations is right now being organized to spread this struggle all over the Continent.
Some answers: Because Micheletti needed to be ure about the Pentagon´s upport for his action. That´s why Zelaya was carried to the US airbase.
2) they were afraid of the poll asking to the People of Honduras for a change in its Constitution. The Constitution of Honduras is designed to keep its oligrachs at government forever.
3) The military maneuvres held by US 4th Fleet reflects that the Pentagon is part of those inside US government that oppose Obama´s policies.
What many of Michelliti's supporters don't know...is that, Michelliti's along with the six rich families and Unite Fruit Company has numerous money invested in Honduras. Zelaya's reform would have throw a monkey wrench to their program...hence...coup d'etat!!
Are you for real ejocampo? Where do you get your resources from "Right Wing Fascist "R" US"? Michelliti should just step down and let Zelaya finish his term. After that, HOnduras could decide who will be there next leader
Some questions: Why was Zelaya carried to the US airbase at Honduras( I think its called porto cano)?Zelaya had only 6 more months at office before the next elections. Why was he ousted , couldn´t they wait? Why is US 4th Flett at maneuvres with the Honduran Army?Weren´t all mlitary links cut by Obma´s administration?
Part2: And I think that that's what the intent here is, to create those kind of conditions, to create the kind of fear that the military will depend upon and that these political sectors will depend upon to try to ensure their stay in power...down with Michelliti!!! VIVA LA REVOLUTION!
part 1. You've seen that in Tegucigalpa and elsewhere. There's a loss of power, which also is intended to ensure the population stays within the house. It's another way of having a state of siege. It's another way of ensuring a curfew. It's another way of ensuring that there is a sense of crisis in the country, of ungovernability. ....
There is nothing in the Honduran Congress that justifies the action taken to kidnap a president and expel him from the country. That is not justified by the Honduran Constitution. That's simply a smokescreen being used now, the same way it was used in Venezuela and Haiti, to justify what is a political coup staged by the political class and by the military in Honduras. Welcome back Zelaya!!!
SANCHEZ, do you know what a military coup is? It is when the military by itself overthrows the president, keeping the power and dissolving the congress! Where the hell are you from? Why do you call our constitution a Mickey mouse constitution? Stop being ridiculous, i dont like to argue with ignorants.
Why do I call you constitution a mickey mouse plan? ok. the Honduran Constitution, written under the military government of U.S. stooge Policarpo Paz García in the early 1980s, is draconian on this subject of re-election and holding individuals to a single presidency. In other words granting dictatorship to leaders.
It is very easy, as long as the president (I am sorry, dictator) follows U.S. demands, he can basically do whatever he desires. Like allowing military camps to train mercenaries and murders like the Nicaragua Death Squads. Which by the way, under Reagan...hundreds of thousands were killed because of these actions
so you see, the constitution you so deeply defend, was never intended for all Hondurian, it was law passed to certain elite groups and minimum interference by other people (which is by the way, the people you see supporting Zelaya).
Im sorry but the people supporting Zelaya are the scum of the country. They are teachers that refuse to work yet collect a paycheck, it is the same people that have for the past years been fighting against Zelaya. People that dont know what they fight for nor what to stand up for other than free money. Hondurans accept our constitution. It can be changed entirely except for seven articles that define the term for presidency.
DO you know what a military coup is? Cause i can show you documents from the U.N., the United States and almost every other nation in the world calling it a military coup, and asking for the return of Zelaya to presidency. The only ones who deny it was a coup, are those who believe the Propaganda being fed to the public by Micheletti. Learn your own History, it has happened before and if you aren't fighting against it then you are the reason it happened again.
"Baton-wielding soldiers used tear gas and water cannons to chase away thousands who demonstrated outside the Brazilian embassy, leaving deposed President Manuel Zelaya and 70 friends and family trapped inside without water, electricity or phones."
I think its brilliant, sieging him inside the embassy to force him to surrender or starve to death. If they'd enter in force in the embassy it would be an atrocity to Brazil and the UN, so they need to smoke him out.
The extreme right wing fundamentalsts ruling Israel have their partners t Wall Street. The recognition of the Government of Micheletti by Israel is a way to send a political torpedo to the Government of Obama. Its a treath to destabilize Central America and to show how Obama fails.
The only country recognizing the fascist military regime that ousted Zelaya is...Israel.This reflects the political crisis INSIDE US Government.I repeat inside US Government, because US President Obama is posing as "supporting" Zelaya´s return. He is doing it just because US actual policy is to "support democracy".But let me tell you that IMF just gave the Government of Micheletti a lon of 200 million dollars ( not a small mount or a small country ).
Michelliti is going down!! FINAL...exuse my typo, what I meant to say is "how many legitimate government recognize Michelliti's wacko government....the answer NONE!"
Honduras isjust the tip of an iceberg, the Honduran crisis reflects the political crisis of US Imperialism itself.Zelaya is just populist who tried to build a base .support from his conservative party. He realized hat his untoppable and deepening economic crisis endangered his country because most Honduran Borugeoisie has strong links with US Corporations.Honduras has no Oil resources and the price of fuel skyrocked the same as in USA.That´s the only reason for his accords with Chavez.
From what I heard from other sources, Zelaya wanted to change the constitution in his favour, the rest of the statal apparatus rejected it and he pushed on hence this situation.
It's no different from Eastern Europe. Here many leaders dont care about the people and are mainly western puppets. My countries president disrespected our constitution many times, but here only the political oposition fights him, no one has the balls to depose him though.

Well... do the math... how many people are in favor of zelaya csanchez2009? 10,000? 100,000? 500,000? even at half a million, that is not even 10% of the Honduran population.

hahahahahha csanchez we are not talking about international recognition for our government. We are talking about the people who are actually suffering. First of all, its not a coup, its only seen as a coup because the SUPREME COURT sent a court order to the military to depose Manuel Zelaya, you expect them to send just a couple of cops? This man has 18 fellonies against him! just because he was elected democratically you expect him to run around free???????
the only political chaos our country suffers is because of Manuel Zelaya calling his few followers for an insurreccion. This man is trying to promote anarchy to restore his power. Dont you see, its now how other governments see us, Honduras just wants to move forward yet Zelaya is only pushing us back.
WRONG...A preliminary report tabled by Honduras's leading human rights monitor, COFADE, has registered over 1,100 human rights violations since the coup, including 3 killings, the detention of over 1,000 people, and 27 incidences of attacks, intimidation, or censorship of media outlets and journalists. This is Michelliti's buddies doing this!
Im sorry my friend, my last job was working with the second largest newspaper. The attack to the media WAS DONE BY ZELAYA'S FOLLOWERS. There have been several reporters that were attacked for doing their jobs, as well as several media vehicles that were torched, also by zelaya's followers.
