Im not saying spanish/latin/french or any other language is worse or better than English, but English is definitely not the most basic language. We have many words that have multiple meanings, many words that sound identical phenetically, our grammar rules can be VERY inconsistent and we have words like goose, moose and noose that are completely different in the plural form. geese, moose and nooses.
