About the language, I pretty much agree with that too.. one thing about Japan though, is that the really hot J-girls usually can't speak any English. The sexy and fashionable J-girls that I liked when I was there (gyaru, kyabajo, b-girls, etc.) usually don' t speak English since they tend to be dumb, LOL. So in that sense, speaking fluently pays off (although you do have a point about dumbing it down).

Yeah, I've been through all that, silly games wid da girls. I speak fluent Japanese but girls seems to prefer if you know zero Japanese. I'm married these days, w/ child. So I'm not in the dating games anymore, but my friends who speak little or no Japanese have more success with girls then friends who are fluent!!

It depends on what Japanese girls you're talking about. If you're talking about the gaijin-hunters, English-parasites who have identity crises about being Japanese and want to become foreigners, then yeah, it's better to speak no Japanese.

However, if you want the hot, stylish, fashionable J-girls whom you usually only see with J-guys, then you need to speak Japanese fluently.

That was my experience, and I'd put my Japanese girl 'Hall of Fame' up against anyone so-called player out there.

Well I have met some of the hot stylish J-girl types who DON'T normaly date foregners but these types are more of a challenge -> Real test of your "Game".
