i'm so sad that this whle thing with brooke was forgotten. her mentioning it a couple of times later, and the episode when she told peytong or saved sam doesn't really count. because it was mostly focused on lucas or nathan or peyton. i think mark passed up an amazing opportunity to really go somewhere with this story. and it makes me sad that he assumes we all know she told the rest of them or they figured it out. I would have loved to see her tell nathan and haley. that would've been the best

@kempokarate12 I know!! Mark always makes it about Lucas and Peyton season 6 and it annoyed me. Brooke went through some really deep stuff and its not ok that she had to deal with it by herself and then later ahe only tells Peyton. They are all her friends and love her very much, she should have got them all together and been like "Guys I didnt really fall down the stairs....". I kept waiting a few episodes for her to do that until I fgured out she wouldnt.

@Vaimaru I think at this point, everyone (except clueless Peyton) had put together that Brooke was lying about falling down the stairs, but they wanted to wait and be comfortable enough for her to open up. I think that's why Nathan really showed up at the door - to show that they were there for her when she was ready.

Brooke's character throughout One Tree Hill is this strong, hard-headed, face on kind of girl. Everytime she falls she manages to pick herself up. This ordeal with her mother taught her alot. It also made us see a different side to her character... Underneath all the strength there lies a soul that is so hurt and in pain. Everything that she ever loved in life was taken away from her. This is a truly epic scene. You can see the similarity between Nathan and Brooke's characters, both were lost...
I think this still goes down as one of the best scenes on one tree hill. It was a history reminder, and friendship reminder of Nathan and Brooke, at a time when Brooke really needed it. I loved it!

Because if she told them she couldn't hide from what happened and she would have to really face. Right now she is dealing with it, but only the surface. If she told her family (who her friends in Tree Hill are) they respond and rally around her in such a way she really with the pain of everything. She knew that ... so she kept it to herself, making it eaiser for her to go numb.
just like everyone else said they're adorable to be dating. i just hope james doesn't pull a chad michael murray on her. sophia can't go through that again!!!! and nathan and brooke are soooo cute and i love these two. it's heartbreaking that he's the only one who told her if she needed someone to talk to he's there. you would think peyton would at least see past her lies.
But I don't really want they are in Oth, because Naley is forever, c'mon! No, I don't think it will happen. But I want more scenes like this, of their friendship! ^^
this scene was good. the orginal 5 characters need to all be connect to eachother in some way for the show to work and sometimes i think brooke and nathan aren't that close coz they weren't good friends or girlfriend boyfiend. theres naley, baley brucas breyton and whatever but all brooke and nathan did was sleep together once so i liked how nathan offered her a shoulder to lean on rather than a more obvious character. they are cool in scenes together.
When Nathan says, "Not bad for a girl who never had a chance," it switches back to Brooke and she sort of nods and almost begins to smile. HOW SWEET! This scene is probably my fave part of S6 so far; BN is amazing and they needed this.
I love this scene, Brooke and Nathan really are alike and I'm glad they finally adressed that. Also, I'm glad Nathan is realizing that Brooke DID NOT FALL DOWN THE STAIRS!

They relate 2 each other. Nates got Dan as the crazy parent nd Brooke's got her mom. Ths was a mega cute scene & i wnt more Brathan nd Baily :D

I love this scene, Brooke and Nathan really are alike and I'm glad they finally adressed that. Also, I'm glad Nathan is realizing that Brooke DID NOT FALL DOWN THE STAIRS!

There were a lot of sad scenes on this episode and I held it together, until this one!!! This is why I love One Tree Hill!! It was unexpected, and brilliant. It just makes me mad, no one realizes she DIDNT FALL DOWN THE STUPID STAIRS!!!!

omg this is the cutest scene. im soo glad they finally touched on the fact tht Brooke and Nathan are two and the same. They are alot alike & like. they were both the spoiled rich kids, who were changed by pple they fell in love with to become great pple. nate said they practically grew up 2gether nd hung with the same cliques nd were frineds for a while. They relate 2 each other. Nates got Dan as the crazy parent nd Brooke's got her mom. Ths was a mega cute scene & i wnt more Brathan nd Baily :D

they live the same thing since they are child! and what nathan said about if her mom is takin her compagny she will lost her dream just like he did! they are so going with a lot in there life! they are so cute together I want them to date each other.. but I guess it will never happen:( Nate is such a good friend I think he is the only one who really understand Brooke and he is the only one who really realise that something was going on with Brooke and that was related to her mother!IWANTBRATHAN

My God, they are SO beautiful, and only now Mark realize how similar they are and how they can just get each other? A real waste, the would have been the greatest oth love story. Anyway, I love them as friends too so I hope this is only the first one of many scenes
