@adawilkes1 Well enlighten us to the golden bridge to end poverty!Anybody explain a real plan to eliminate poverty. You can only make everybody poor(equal).Thats the only way you can eliminate one man having more than the next.Go on, I am listening.
Poverty is the distance between incomes. As long as you have rich, you have poor. This is better for the country because everyone is accountable for their own wellbeing(capitalism).
If you only have one class nobody has a reference point for comparison, the citizens slack off in their inefficient paradise ignorant bliss.(communism Russia, china before 2000, Venezuela ).
I am waiting two months to see a "nurse practitioner" Mr Obama so should I go to the hospital emergency? It seems you want us to go to the emergency room or DIE. Oh, and I have chronic cough and I don't smoke so maybe it's your CHEM-TRAILS sprayed upon us Mr President!?
Hate the wealthy? Give to the less fortunate? "Even the playing field" ?
Here are average yearly incomes of several countries:
Brazil $8,135
Venezuela $11,444
India $1,054
China $3,212
USA $45,835
To even the playing field, we must "de-develop the USA" , redistribute the wealth globally (take your income) vis cap and trade and other measures. How does socialism look to you now? It's not taking money from the wealthy -- it's taking your money!
Everytime the federal reserve prints a bill to loan to the us government there is interest attached to that. We've been in slavery to them since we went off the gold standard in 1933. The gold standard pretty much controlled how much money could be printed since each bill printed at the time could actually be traded in for real gold. Now The united states currently owes $ 751.5 billion china $798.9 uk around 249.3 billion and other countries the rest of its national debit in borrowed interest.
Too much $ going to agricultural subsidies in the E.E.c. and U.S., which causes third world poverty, then we give food aid to those countries where their farmers have been driven out of business by unfair trade practices. it's insane.
Cut poverty in half. There mustn't be any poverty at all.
1. Desintegrate the big corporations
2. Pay taxes to provide infrastructure (not war and luxury excesses for the rich)
3. Eliminate interest rates. Limit debts.
4. Close private banks
5. Close the stock market
If you want to live in a society, you have to think social. You see what happens in a ego-consumer driven, capitalistic system. In the 1990s not even the Russian were facing the problems you've got now.
Poverty is relative. Those with less than others are considered more impoverished. Here in the USA poor children have $200 Jordan tennis shoes & only have a play station 2 instead of a PS3
The poor people in Costa Rica do not have iPhones, DS2s & large screen TVs.
If u disintegrate big corps u put millions out of work
Who will lend money for free
No banks no loans
No stock market no investment in business no jobs
The Russians were poor during the communistic reign
Because the GOP has been fighting education funding since the 70s and blaming the results on the teachers. Look around you. Would we have this completely messed up country if the population were properly educated? Vote progressive!
One way to fight future poverty is by empowering kids to learn how to be entrepreneurs early on in life. Schools should teach the subject, after all these kids are either going to work for a company (profit or non profit) or create their own path by owning businesses. Let's really teach them real life lessons. Why do we still have to follow the industrial age style of education while we are in digital, service- oriented age?
@adawilkes1 1.What do you think the plan has been for education since day 1?
2.Community college is affordable and worth the investment
3.Let them donate it to their liking instead
4.Again WTF have the past million social programs failed at doing.
The only way to a better America is by working with and educating every citizen, government for the people by the people.

Ron Paul doesn't cater to "groups" so this doesn't get publicized much:
The only 2012 presidential candidate that won't cut food stamps?
Ron Paul “I Don’t Think Cutting Food Stamps For The Poor Is The Right Priority”
Check out Paul's other policies. He definitely has the right idea.
