@FinalSephiroth For me, the build up makes that drop work. You just don't drop into that. And the best part of the first two minutes are the lyrics, really. Makes me laugh every time. "Talking like a jerk, 'cept you are an actual jerk and living proof... sometimes friends are mean." Classic stuff. FUCK THE HATERS. THIS SONG IS PERFECTION.

people just don't want to wait for a songs to kick in, like most things it's a need for instant gratification when the songs where you have to wait a little are normally the most gratifying. then when you listen to the 3 minute intro again it turns into almost anticipation and you just enjoy the song on such a deeper level
