Be honestly, I like part the old Macau and most of the new Macau now, especilly the service in the gov. dept, people can really see the changes :) the old Macau is very very slow...:( I mean everything, not very good service in the gov. More people knows the new Macao now ^..~

macau wasnt really "offered". in the ages of world sailing, with time, we´ve (the portuguese) did a base in Macau, and that time, if u went there, its yours. the chinese had no notion of the western civilization, so they didnt fight over it (but i dont know how was china then). After the revolution of 1974, portugal gave the independence to tha remaining colonies, but since macau isnt as big as angola or moçambique, it took a little more, but then, we offered it to china...Saudades Macau!

I so love Macau that I use "Macanese" as my ID in youtube, haha, although I am full blood Chinese without any Portuguese ancestry. Anyway I love the old Macau, Macau has been changing and changing. So sad. Maybe Portuguese government did something wrong but it really made Macau so unique. Especially in the field of culture. No Portuguese colonization, there is no Macau, and Macau will become Aomen. yes!! Obrigado, I want to learn Portuguese, haha!
