Would like to see a season 2, and onwards if possible, but I doubt it.

The anime wasn't popular in Japan.

I've read the books and comics of whatever they've released so far, but would have liked to see it from the anime perspective.

And plus, you can tell they were rushing to finish season 1, by how they rushed his Dad's appearance and explained briefly how his parents died. If I remember correctly his Dad's also dead, but in spirit form like the Ferris' brother.

Some people somewhat see themselves in fictional characters and it's not really my kind of things... usually...

Yet, I see so much connections between me and Ryner it became ridiculous. I was predicting each of his reactions only after a few episodes...

A lonesome, clumsy and lazy guy who hates working, bothering people and making them suffer... Me and Ryner in a nutshell.

I also sleep in class or anywhere else when I can.

Naps are a really good substitute for animes/books/videogames.

This show is both depressing and depressingly underrated. Seriously, if they had given it a more mature name, I know it would be so much more popular. It's really sad that so few people have heard about it, really. But as it is, when people see the name they think "Oh, this is going to be just another cliche fantasy anime."

I just really hope that they make a continuation of this series. I really want to see more of Ryner and I want to know what happened to Kiefer.

@Byakuya0090 I always love a good tragedy because you can tell when they're good because they make you bawl your eyes out. But at least the ending wasn't a total downer. It just seemed...incomplete. I think that's the main problem a lot of people have with it. But who cares, right? We can only hope they'll make another series to tie everything up.

@MegaBlasterFTW Well the title means the same exact thing in English as it does in Japanese, but I don't speak Japanese, sooooo I wouldn't have known what the title actually was unless someone had translated it. Oh, and this show was never dubbed, so you're comment doesn't really mean anything.

@TearsofWolves Well, i mean look at bleach, i think, (although im not sure) the creator made the name "bleach", a common household detergent, because it looked cool in japanese or sounded cool, but of coure to us, well, not the most exciting thing. And for the dubbers, i meant the name translators, i wouldn't have minded them still calling it "Densetsu no yuusha no densetsu" (the title in japanese). to me it sounds a bit better like that.

@MegaBlasterFTW No, It's called Bleach because Ichigo has blonde or "bleached" hair. My point is, in both Japanese and English, the title is redundant and veeeeery cliched. It's just a poor title.

@TearsofWolves @MegaBlasterFTW How did this conversation appear without me seeing it? xD However, I wouldn't say Ichigo is blonde, he's ginger! xD and im afraid the reason its called bleach is this: (given by Kubo himself) Tite Kubo himself ( the creator of bleach ) gave two reasons to calling it that. One was a symbolic reason. As the soulreapers cleanse souls, it's like they are "bleaching" their souls, the other cause Bleach was the name of his fave nirvana album :P

@Byakuya0090 From what I've heard. The anime ended at where the novel ended. So it won't be for like at least 1-2 years till the novel progresses somewhere. So we're looking at, at least a 2-4 years wait

First, I believe that everyone can agree that the only thing holding back this anime is the name. Second, I believe that the story has the power to rival FMA. Last, if finished right this should be able to be one of the most watched animes ever.

There is another anime that rivals this one as well : Aquarion. FMA was epic & I doubt it can be topped for the storyline. It reminds me of the old school Final Fantasy games (FF X, FF 8 and previous) where the storyline is something other than what is expected or can be foreseen. Aquarion is unlike the conventional Gundam animes that I've seen from Japan. Just like MechWarrior complemented Battletech, Aquarion supplements shows like Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gundam Wing & The Big O

this anime is truly one of the animes with best story that i've seen till now, all characters have such a great plot and the relations between them are really well-wrought. theres always something new and unexpected though quite simple designed. can recommend it to anyone who likes adrenalin pushing moments :O
