You guys would be much better served by learning how commodity futures work and lobbying your local member of congress to actually try and put some sort of regulation on the market. Remember California's fake energy crisis? Same thing, now it's just food and oil futures they play with to get a quick buck. The most coveted foods(healthy foods such as fruit & vegies and staples such as rice and flour, as well as all organically grown foods)are going to be the hardest to obtain and therefore the most expensive(as is the case now) Already the poor in North America consume the worst foods because they are the cheapest i.e., ramen noodles, 69 cent hamburgers, 50 cent soda pops etc.This is why we are seeing the poor typically the most obese.
