Nice, i just tried these for the first time (started on 30kg then did 35) definitely enjoyed it so im including it in my workout from now on.
On a side note broke a pb on the bench today at 125kg. I know its not huge but i was out of the gym for over 8 months but started again in January and have never felt better (endorphins rule!!), i set a pb a year ago so im well chuffed do be progressing again.
the best ive ever done with this, is cleaning and pressing a single 65kg for 10. i havnt really gone heavier than that, i only do it after all my pressing is done, or the next day before heavy skull crushers. ive skull crushed almost a 74kg for 5 reps with assitance before! and i can press 80kg dumbells on a flat for 10. but your squatting would destroy mine! i didnt realise u were on britons strongest man 2007, ive been taping it, i must of missed you!
At weightlifting or strongman event they would only laugh if you were trying to keep rest of the body "paralyzed". That's full body power, and BB ould also take advantage of these - just look at Ronnie's or Arnold's cheats.

Lol look at all your water in your system fatty, and next time you do dumbbell press, try siting down and doing them, not standing, bending your knees so you can get it up with some force, this is doing nothing to even make you strong!!!!
i could do a set of 10 reps with the 60's seated dumbell press and i do, for shoulder strength in workouts all the time
but this is an "event" for a strongman comp and it does not matter one bit how you press it as long as you get it over head its more about balance than anything else
you probably tried it and snapped your skinny arm off thats why you have not replyed
Lol! Haha... good response, Uncle! I hate it when these kids get online and start disrespecting true strength athletes. BTW, very impressive weight you are moving with this lift! Nice power!
Your statement just proved that you know next to nothing about functional strength training. All of your advice is exactly opposite of what any strength coach would give. Plus, you are rude.
@KyzerGB accurly smart ass it will help him gain power i should no i started over doing 40s over ehd at age of 15 now im up to a 140 overhead barbell press for 5.. and 60kg kettle bell press

Nice lifting, some serious weight there I'm only on 55kg, looks like you could handle atleast 80kg. What is your maximum?

Well done lifts, decent leg drive.Get more power when looking at your pressing hand while locking the dumbbell overhead. Eyes will help focus.
Stay strong!
