  • lol wouldn't call this hip movement, I rather do the real thing

  • lols my left hip is all banged up right now.. left leg too...

  • you have nice hips

  • when i hoop on my hips it never stays there it goes back to my waist without me evn tryin any tips....?

  • you might me tilting your pelvis up, try to tip it down.

  • Some wench!!!

  • Good tips. The instruction is slow enough so beginners can follow along and emphasizing the important points with repetition. Thanks!

  • This is fantastic.. I'd accidentally got my hoop going on the hips before, but i had no idea how to actually keep it there. Love your work!

  • You're totally wrong. You never slow down when bringing the hoop down to the waist. It looks stupid and it looks unprofessional. To get it to the hips you tilt your pelvis down that way you keep your momentum and it doesn't look as sloppy.

  • I can understand that professionally, it doesn't look good but for an uber-newbie, I don't think it will do any harm, really. Once someone gets to the pro level, they will know several different ways move from the waist to the hips that look wonderful and work much better.

  • You're totally right. I tried tilting my pelvis right after I read your comment and the hoop literally fell right down to hips. It's way more effective than trying to slow that hoop down! Thanks!

  • She's so right about the bruising. In my first week of hooping I learned that the hard way. I had nice purple and yellow bruises around both my hip bones for a week. It was painful. Be careful. You only need to endure that once to figure out how to avoid it. ;]
