Granted it was a stupid joke to say on the radio of all places about such a sensitive topic but it was a joke all the same. I personally have been to many comedy shows where several comedians have made that same joke even the Haitian comedians touch on the topic. Dude was definitely wrong for saying it on the radio but his apology is sincere..

That's where HIV was tested as a Polio vaccination, but it wasn't just that area. As for any immunity, that doesn't come from any so-called plague. You might want to seek further readings and education on it. It wasn't created through experiments on gays in America. It expanded and hit the gay population, like the rest. It spread like wildfire in the US in the as early as the late 60s and 70s- due to lack of sexual protection, and by the 80s people just figured out what it was.

this whole situation is crazy. Anybody that's an avid listener of the morning show or goes to any of the parties Cipher does knows he's a good dude. Granted it was a stupid joke to say on the radio of all places about such a sensitive topic but it was a joke all the same. I personally have been to many comedy shows where several comedians have made that same joke even the Haitian comedians touch on the topic. Dude was definitely wrong for saying it on the radio but his apology is sincere..

I do, however, know that not everyone's choice for government officials make it to office. And even when they do, they don't always do right by the people. All I was suggesting is that, as a community/people/nation we accept many things from our leaders and don't voice our opinions as strongly as we do with celebrities.
