Israels are waiting for a messiah and they will build a great temple. Christians believe that Jesus is that messiah and so Jesus will build the temple?
That's where Christians are wrong, the Antichrist is the one who will build the temple together with the jews. Jesus will return and war against the AntiChrist.
the 6th and last pillar of iman is believeing in divine predestination...
allah is the almighty and alknowing therefore he knows everything apearent and hidden, he knows the past, the future and the present and nothing is out of his knowledge...
we must believe that allah has written our path but he has given us free will to chose which path we follow
the forth pillar of iman is believing in allahs books...
allah has sent books to some of the massengers such azzabour, the tablets, torah, the gospel...
unfortunetly these books have been corupted by human hands, many words changed and even entire stories in such a way that the massege u get from these books isnt the massege which allah wants us to recieve...
he sent his final revelation to us which can never be corupted because millions have memorised it and more millions are memorising it
allah has chosen certain ppl to send the massege to different ppl in order to believ in god and not idols, to guide them on the right path and forbid what is wrong and order what is right...all the prophets such as noah, ibrahim, moses, jesus were sent to certain ppl with a temporary massege...mohammad is the last massenger of allah and his massege is the qor'an which is preserved by allah forever
the second pillar of iman is to believe in the angels...
allah created many creatures and one of these creatures are the angels who are created from light and the only thing they can do is to obey allah...they do not have free will like we do...
there are many angels and the most famous is "jibril" ('aleyhi assalam-peace be upon him) who mainly serves as a massenger of god to human kind
@smartpeasant many christians chose to become muslims and from other faiths too...many of them chose so because islam makes sense...theres no trinity, no weird ceremonies and stuff...everything makes sense...
god created us and he knows how we think and he makes things easier to us to understand and like bible says he is not the creator of confusion...unfortunetly our christian cousins chose confusion by their own will...
so i think many of them realise that islam is truth...la ilaha illallah
@khalilrabee Whoa, let's slow down a bit and go one thing at a time. You said you believe in one god. That is the first thing you said so if you want to talk about a different singular point we can, I'm just picking the first in your post.
So you are Muslim because you believe in one god?
@smartpeasant yes believing in one god is the first pillar of the 6 pillars of iman (faith)...u cant be a muslim r practice any islamic practice if u dont believe in the 6 pillars of faith, it wouldnt make sense...
so there are 6 pillars of faith an 5 pillars of islam...the 6 pillars of faith guide u to the pillars of islam...
the first pillar of faith is 'al-iman billah"=belief in allah (i prefer allah instead of god) and this means to believe and worship him alone and not associate anything.
@khalilrabee Oh, so it is not because of believing in one god you became Muslim, you just have to believe this to be a Muslim. So then why are you Muslim then? I'm curious as to the reason behind you choosing to be Muslim.
@khalilrabee Sorry, I know I sound annoying, I thought you said belief in one god was not the cause of being Muslim and it was simply a requirement. What was the cause of you being Muslim? Or am I wrong and your belief in one god was a prior attribute that led you to be Muslim?
@smartpeasant such as racism, peace and war, allies and enemies, health, cleanliness, searching for any type of knowledge, brotherhood between muslims, wealth and poverty....
every single aspect of life has an answer or several answers
@smartpeasant ow but most mainly im a muslim because "muslim" means "a person who submitts to gods will, has peace with god and himself, surrenders to god and forbids idolworshiping etc....islam is a wide word...
and insha' allah (if god wills) im one of the muslims

the 5th pillar of iman is believing in day of judgement...
we must believe that one day this life will end and allah will bring us before him and we will be judged acording to our deeds...
allah is not unjust but he is very just and forgiving all we need to do is seek his forgivness for our sins...
and he doesnt punish anyone who didnt recieve his massege...
idolworshipers are one of those who will be punished without any judgement

smartpeasant 1 year ago
@smartpeasant me? i believe in one god, i have the qor'an and i speak arabic so i understand it although simetimes i need a translation...
there are many proofs for the qor'an and mohammad...
scientific proofs in qor'an, mohammad fortold many things about future history...and i also raised with islam...
it teaches us to worship one god and to not reject any of the prophets sent by god...we can not be muslims if we reject one of them...
islam gives answers to questions about any aspect of lif

@smartpeasant becouse i believe all this...and when u believe all this theres no other way than the 5 pillars of islam...

@khalilrabee What is 'all of this' that you believe, that is very vague, can you choose just one thing to educate me about specifically.
smartpeasant 1 year ago
@smartpeasant ok lets take the first pillar and the most important one...
believing in allah or god...we have to understand what the concept of god is because pagan arabs believed in god too but they prayed to idols...
the best definition over the concept of god is found in a surah of the qor'an...surat al-ikhlas:
say: he is allah! the one! alalh is the everlasting, he does not beget nor he is begoten and there is noone equal to him.
he alone is the creator and he alone is divine

thats the first pillar of iman
