Itachi vs Sasori. Well, Itachi can use Amaterasu only so much. Genjutsu is not an option lol. Susanoo might do the trick. Honestly, with pretty much solid taijutsu combined with Amaterasu, he might take this.

Itachi can just use Amaterasu on Sasori's puppet and Core and it's over. Sasori doesn't possess anywhere close to the speed that's required to dodge Amaterasu (like the Raikage in Lightning armor release or Gaara's sand at Shippuden 5Kage meeting level). If anything Sasori's attacks are based in huge numbers discounting the Kazekage puppet, which are useless against the Susanoo defense.

People think Sasori is weak. Sasori was defeated because he not only fought his mentor, his grandmother, who introduced him to pupetry, he fought against the ultimate pupets, the 10 created by the original pupet master. Chiyo was super effective! None of the other Akatsuki member had faced an opponent with an advantage like Chiyo's over her grandson, Sasori.

@jose6aa tsukuyomi only affects the sight of a user. the REAL REAL sasori, is technically the little pumping seal. You cant control a puppet without a host, therefore that little seal that sasori has is technically the host, and since that little pump thing isnt technically seeing anything, but more of controling sasori's body, genjutsu doesnt affect a puppet.

@Fascino93 it would break the puppet, since the puppet is a hollow shell. its hard to desrcibe. Think of the orginal sasori, before he made himself into a puppet. He had to control other puppets to bring them to usage. when he made himself a puppet, he basically made himself into the little seal, which then powers up his orginal body. so technically, sword of totsuka or tsukiyomi cant damage sasori unless it hits exactly at that seal.

It's hard to say who would win since occular genjutsu wouldn't have an effect on Sasori, I'd go for Itachi though cause I think we can agree he's faster than Sasori and can burn anything Sasori has to nothing, and as a last resort he could use susanoo, close match to call though. But if Itachi wasn't already ill and half blind he would definatly rape Sasori cause he would be even faster, stronger, better at predicting movements and able to use more jutsu before getting tired out.
