For me. Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Macho Man Randy Savage... in no arranged order, are the best wrestlers ever. Mostly because what they did in the ring that made them great, was that they were telling a story by their work. Most of the time when wrestlers wrestle, its just athleticism. What these guys did, was to incorporate a storyline within the match. That's what most current wrestlers lack these days, being able to tell a story... and it doesn't need flashy, high spot moves.
@1226random If you had said that someone like The Undertaker or Bret Hart or Ric Flair should be #1 instead of HBK, that would be subject to argument. But I don't think the Rock outclasses Shawn even if we don't consider how long the two have been in the business. Look at the great matches HBK has given us. Though I agree that towards the end of his career, those matches were mostly at Wrestlemania, but still, I don't think the Rock can be compared to him in terms of QUALITY.

HBK, is too over rated.
The undertaker or THE ROCK should be #1.
HBK is great for only one reason, and that is, he's been in the industry for a long time.
Its QUALITY what matters, THE ROCK and RAZOR RAMON was quality.
i dnt care if people say, the rock has only been in the industry for a short time BUT he was QUALITY.
HBK is overrated.
