What is everyone talking about? The video from them is great! And WAY above the 640x480 everyone is claiming. The highest resolution video it has is 1280x1024, so in between 720 HD and 1080 HD (b/c it's a 3:4 aspect ratio instead of 16:9). The image quality itself is also superb. What's everyone's beef? At max resolution it runs at 10fps, and yes at the lower 640x480 it runs at 30fps...but that doesn't matter anyway if you're using it to video chat because the messenger will limit it anyway.

My issue with this camera is not the quality (it looks good), it's that it wont run at anything above 5fps?! Wtf?! If keep still it looks good, but no software I try lets me run at any decent frame rate - and this is just in preview mode, not even streaming or recording... :(

what I also don't get...is this is NOT HD. 640x480 is not a HD resolution and is not widescreen. Go with the Lifecam Cinema..i have it, it's great, and skype works GREAT with it. True HD widescreen video.

This review is misleading. The highest resolution it records is 640x480, and if you plug it into the computer, it wiggles. I can't explain it, but that is poor build quality right there. Don't buy it.

lol no it has nothing to do with my monitor, otherwise someone would have said something by now, plus i see red just fine on my monitor its just sometimes on certain colors when someone sees red i see more of an orange. Its not uncommon people often see different shades of colors from one another. I just thought it was funny, but not in the haha sense.

lol no im not. being color blind and seeing different SHADES of color are 2 different things. Not everyone sees the same colors as you, and you dont see all the same colors as other people, its just the ways our eyes develop, and is very common. that's why people argue about what shade of color something is. if they all saw the exact same color there would be no argument.

I don't think i would want to buy a webcam that looks kind of like a makeup mirror that came out of my g/f's purse LMAO. You can also get HD webcams off ebay for about $5/$10 a pop from Hong Kong, and they work great. :-)

They work just fine once you get the drivers installed correctly, sometimes you have to do some searching on Google, and translate chinese sites into English but nothing too hard for a good computer geek. ;-) Also make sure you get a good seller on Ebay that has High feedback rattings. seems some posters aka illage2 here don't know how to do that lol. ;-)
