Some Siberian tigers are even known to kill black bears or some 2k lbs crocodiles which lions can never dream of . Speaking of 1vs1 however, lions probably won't go alone in the first place. It will never happen.

I saw this entire documentary. The lioness was severely bitten by the hippo, and she was experiencing brain hemorrhage, a pierced throat, a damaged eye, etc. The documentary said "It's unlikely she'll make it..." BUT SHE DID! I was so happy. Within a week, she recovered and later on, she hunted buffalo. I was so shocked when that nasty hippo bit her like that, but I was so relieved she pulled through.

It is probably easier to teach a chimpanzee solve a puzzle than say.....a dog. Since there's no precise and concrete way to actually measure intelligence scientifically, we can roughly estimate through this observation that the Chimp is more intelligent than the dog.

They are much more agile and go for their preys throats. The hippo is too fat to do that, and also that lioness was lucky. And tigers NEVER hunt in groups, they can handle all their preys alone. Some of them even attacked elephants, alone. A lion will never do that.

I saw this entire documentary. The lioness was severely bitten by the hippo, and she was experiencing brain hemorrhage, a pierced throat, a damaged eye, etc. The documentary said "It's unlikely she'll make it..." BUT SHE DID! I was so happy. Within a week, she recovered and later on, she hunted buffalo. I was so shocked when that nasty hippo bit her like that, but I was so relieved she pulled through.

Elephants, Buffalo and Hippos will intentionally hunt young Lions and try to kill them. Lions live and fight with the largest (Elephant), tallest (Giraffe) and most deadly (Hippos, Crocs, Buffalo) animals alive.
What's more courageous? Challenging a single Bear or challenging a herd of 5-8 ton Bull Elephants, what about fighting a pack of 40+ Hyena’s?
I've seen Lions survive being shot, attacked by 3+ Tigers, kicked by a Bull Giraffe and now bitten by a fully grown Hippo.

A fully grown African Elephant is virtually safe from any attack (Except maybe like 30 Lions) however a Zebra is almost completely defenceless, Zebra’s can be killed by Lions, Hyena's, Crocs, Rhinos etc.

Humans are animals and we share the same emotions as animals. The only difference is that humans rely more on intelligence, whereas animals rely on instinct.
When threatened animals (including Humans) will either fight or run. This is where all animals show courage or fear.

@thanatosstorm Um no. Animals do exhibit intelligence. It depends on how you define "intelligence". I like to define intelligence as the ability to learn and solve problems. It is probably easier to teach a chimpanzee solve a puzzle than say.....a dog. Since there's no precise and concrete way to actually measure intelligence scientifically, we can roughly estimate through this observation that the Chimp is more intelligent than the dog.

Apes are able to use tools like rocks to break coconuts and other objects. Many scientists believe some Apes would go down the same evolutionary path as Human if we did not reduce their habitat and hunt them. It would take Thousands of years (Like it did for us) but it would happen.

And I respectfully ask that you read through everything I am writing and understand that what I am saying is the Gospel Truth; we are, all of us, sinners, and that through Jesus, the Christ, we can be saved, if we only receive that salvation and read the Word of God and come to greater understanding that there is a God in Heaven who loves us.

Someone brought up some stuff about humans being animals, which, of course, I believe is incorrect, and so that opened up the discussion into which you found yourself inserting your own comments, and to which I replied. good comment hiyadroogs and thanks for the video-its amazing-wow how could anything survive such an attack-if it had been a longer tusk it would have killed the lion-and as someone said its lucky not to have broken the lions neck-u bet that indivisual lion will never get near the sharp end of a hippo again -the poor lion looks like its in agony -ive also seen vids of them killing elephants,rhino and hippo hiyadroogs -they are awesum -unparalelled predators of huge beasts -but i like hippos too
