Timmy is an amazing player, but i'd like to point out that he plays more center than pf... not like it matters. If you consider him a pf, then hes best. If he's a center, then (all-time) he's fourth behind Russell, Chamberlain, and Shaq ( in his better days)

He's only played center for the last few years cuz they didn't have a center. RObinson was their center until 2003, then Rasho, then Nazr Mohammed, Then nobody, that's why Duncan now plays center. I think Duncan is in the argument along with Barkley and Malone, but he is way behind as a center because he didn't play center in his true prime.
He's defenitely very skilled, and very versatile, but he needs a star next to him to be effective. He's not the type of PF who you can build a team around and he'll lead them to success. He's also not the type to put up crazy scoring, rebounding, and blocking numbers either. He showed this in Memphis

He will be the first to tell you though Reggie Miller is teh greatest pure shooter to ever play and he has Ginobilii and Horry on his team. You are right I think that Garnett is probably one of the worst beasts that ever played the game and has Duncan beat with the outside game but Duncan is one of the best competitors. honestly, as the beginning of this season has started, I believe there are only three or four teams that have a chance at the title. Those being Cavs, Lakers, Celtics, and a longshot Spurs (but when you have tim duncan you always have a chance). I see the rockets getting out of the first round, but i dont see them getting past the likes of the lakers or spurs. I really think this is the Cavs year, they are just playing too well.

so true!! The love of the game is what makes people like Bird, Magic, Reggie, Jordan and all the other legends people to look up to today! The love they had made basketball beautiful to watch, those dudes made competition honorable and made the chamion cities feel like kings!

Timmy is an amazing player, but i'd like to point out that he plays more center than pf... not like it matters. If you consider him a pf, then hes best. If he's a center, then (all-time) he's fourth behind Russell, Chamberlain, and Shaq ( in his better days)

He's only played center for the last few years cuz they didn't have a center. RObinson was their center until 2003, then Rasho, then Nazr Mohammed, Then nobody, that's why Duncan now plays center. I think Duncan is in the argument along with Barkley and Malone, but he is way behind as a center because he didn't play center in his true prime.

He's defenitely very skilled, and very versatile, but he needs a star next to him to be effective. He's not the type of PF who you can build a team around and he'll lead them to success. He's also not the type to put up crazy scoring, rebounding, and blocking numbers either. He showed this in Memphis

There is no question in my mind about that Timmy is definitely the best power forward to ever play the game. He will be the first to tell you though Reggie Miller is teh greatest pure shooter to ever play and he has Ginobilii and Horry on his team. Look at the shooters touch that he had biggest three point threat ever.

You are right I think that Garnett is probably one of the worst beasts that ever played the game and has Duncan beat with the outside game but Duncan is one of the best competitors. I have always said that if the Timberwolves had another scorer that year they may have beaten the Lakers that year that they face them in the western conference finals because Malone was not going to hold him.

honestly, as the beginning of this season has started, I believe there are only three or four teams that have a chance at the title. Those being Cavs, Lakers, Celtics, and a longshot Spurs (but when you have tim duncan you always have a chance). I see the rockets getting out of the first round, but i dont see them getting past the likes of the lakers or spurs. I really think this is the Cavs year, they are just playing too well.

If T-Mac and Yao would have stayed healthy together ever since that team was put together, I can almost guarantee that the Rockets would have become a dynasty with multiple rings, or at least have a couple by now. Yao and McGrady in their prime, would be close to what Shaq and Kobe were, because T-Mac would have been in a later, true prime of his career, where Kobe was still young. If they would have stayed healthy, the Rockets would be like the Lakers, Cavs and Celtics today

you're completely right that they need to play good D on Kobe and Ariza but last night was a bad example for your point, cuz the lakers only scored 40 in the first half, 15 in the 1st quarter, something not so common for them. Sure the Magic didn't score much either, but we're talking about their D. The truth is the Magic's game is 3's. They play inside to outside.
