Early Morning Rant on Fibonacci, Mayan Calendar and some other stuff

Hey get this, after i left this message i went to bed and about 10 mins later came up with something. its not exactly fibonocci, but it is interesting. they talk about the date 12-21-2012 @ 11:11 am. take the date itself and add. 1+2+2+1+2+0+1+2 = 11

now we have 11-11-11

funny, i was meditating and the fibonacci numbers were shown to me about maybe 6 months ago, never heard of them before that meditation. went to the puter and typed in the numbers in the search and fibonocci came up. I was shocked. tonight i just had a though to search mayan fibonocci and i came across this video. just watched one from you on silver rates and fibonocci. almost bed time though, so research has to wait!

hey in your charts, did you notice that not only can you easily use exp or log (or ln) to reshape the curve (e.g. the S&P or Dow or TSX have a log curve since the bottom, gold's bull market has an exponential curve with some high spikes)... but once you have it in a linear scale...

OpenOffice lets you just select the data item (edit the chart object) and Insert Regression. pretty cool. just figures out the line & you can edit the Line to show the regression formula.

I just did this on the rate of change% (80 day) I had mentioned a while back, and my line (eye-balled it) was fairly close to the regression line (-0.32x slope, x being trading days from the peak). My eye-balled estimate was -0.34x.
