Good show, but it doesn't come even close to the Sopranos. Buscemi is missing the charisma of James Gandolfini, not to mention the supporting actors are nothing like those in the Sopranos - both as characters and appearance. I'm not sure the show will carry on to more than 3 seasons...

I think he has a part to play in the movie but Walken, Sorvino,Dennehy etc would have been a better choice

@kk666u-Golden Globe, hmm-ah yes! The round thing we studied in high school. Steve Buscemi is a fine actor and always a pleasure to watch. In this series, Boardwalk Empire, he is simply miscast. The final episodes of the first season were certainly better than the start. But, he is not the reason I like this show.The supporting cast (Capone, etc.) are far more 'suited' for this HBO show. The sets, costuming, and direction are exquisite. Buscemi literally has big shoes to fill in this role-JT8800
