It's called light polarization. One image is projected vertically and the other is projected horizontally. The switch between the glasses is just the change of planes. So mode A can be taking in light vertically and mode B is taking images horizontally. This works because the images projected is a transverse wave. PHYSICS FOR THE WIN!

Sounds impressive, but not that excited to be honest. If two people wanna watch different stuff, would they really prefer to watch the same TV which requires that they both wear 3D glasses and headsets?? I believe this technology is great for those who can only afford one TV (maybe in terms of space). Otherwise, I don't think it's gonna be that useful to be honest. Would rather buy an extra TV to watch my own stuff without wearing 3D glassed and a headset.

Sony's version of this type of TV is called Simulview or you can watch 2 video images full-screen on their PS 3D gaming monitor. But Samsung with OLED this is mega ultra beast
