@RussianBoy1904 the 20 60 and 80gb versions of the "Fat" PS3 can do it,but if you want to do that with any other version,you gotta download something from PSN to do it but yea they can.

As a bonus,All ps3s can play PS1 games ;)

No, you can't. But if you're tossing up whether or not you shud buy a PS3 or a 360, go the PS3 for sure man, it's undeniably the most advanced console in the world. There isn't enough room in a comment to state why, but this guy, his account name is Blackbustercritic, and he has a string of videos which perfectly outline why the PS3 on a number of levels, is a better console than the PS3.

Bought my slim version 120GB on Sat 3rd Oct for £229 from Toy's R us.. not bad deal, very quiet and much better on temps then my last chunky one.

No straight forward backwards compatible on the slim for the moment for PS2 Games.

i got a PHAT ps3 my one is always cool no matter how long i play it, when i had hours n hours playtime on it i check it when i turn it off n its still cool it never gets hot it gets slightly lukewarm and i can never hear mine, iv had it 2 years its the 40gb, iv had friends that told me there ps3 gets boiling hot like its burnin up so it all depends on the model i think, ill get a slim when/if my 40gb breaks, £229 is a good price tho

ChunkieBoySkinny..My old one was the 60GB and it certainly warmed up, it only lasted 1 year and then it stopped with the YLOD :o( proberly just 1 of a bad batch from Sony...I read on some forums that the 60GB version did seem to have some overheating problems..I think they used a leadfree solder that gave them the problems ?..
