jazak allah khairun br belal! tru tru....I feel the same way..instead of driving myself crazy with all the "projects" I have piled up....I should def be delegating it to others...teaching others how to do what I do then giving them the guidance that they need along the way to do it, which is easier said than done tho, lol ..oh and yes, the beat boxing/nasheed mix in the beginning was fantabulous =)
brother how is it driving a long trip inshallah i want 2 attend a al maghrib class in maryland and i live in ny and its about a 5 hour trip tell me about the experience driving far cause i never drove that far
I think it made a really cool short film...I agree too though with moozy786, it would've been nice to also see a little of the events, but I understand, people are always afraid of the camera lens, especially if you had the whole lens, mic, and steadicam setup :)
I agree with you. Having more footage of the actual events happening would certainly pull the viewer in more.
However, some people don't like or want to be filmed (aqeeqah for example).
I had every intention of filming AlMaghrib HQ and giving sort of a tour, but all my time was spent editing there and when I was done I just wanted to get out - only to get stuck in a freezing car :P

@pmoyer50 From where did you ever get the idea that he's claimed himself to be a prophet?

@leechonfilms : He came out of the cave where he met the devil and proclaimed that he was the messenger.

It's not too far. Ottawa was about 8 hrs drive.
Maryland should be a walk in the park. It shouldn't be 5 hrs, unless you're driving from Long Island. I'm from NJ.
Make sure you take a friend with you. Nothing better than good companionship on a road trip.

liked it :)
MashaAllah different style with the story narraration.
I would have liked some more clips of actual things happening, but overall this was cool.
We got a look into your thoughts rather than your simple activities, and the story aspect of it made it entertaining at a new level I think.

what I mean by more actual things happening, I mean like, seeing the aqiqah, or the almaghrib hq, or something like that.
