  • But isn't the hooks much louder?

  • @williamED15 - Yes, but why should that matter? Are you trying to hide in a sniper position while re-arranging your vest? Modular vests are not designed to be adjusted with stealth in mind. It still takes time, and free hands to do this. IOW, it should be done in a staging area, outside the playing area.

  • @JackRockBLC seeking ideally and this will sound bad but I have a Camelbak Molle vest and the way he demonstrated it making that that sound while it was rattling concerned me if i was jogging or briskly moving about in a scenario where sound might be of the essence.

  • is, that.. an ACU KILT?..... thats sweetttt

  • in reference to the kilt : i guess its the same as the old purse/manbag discussion. its all about whether you re used to seeing someone wear it or it if it strikes you as odd.

call it what you want, function is what defines the item.

  • Interlock is loud. It doesnt keep the pouch tight enough to the body.

  • You could go all highlander... and by that, I mean naked

  • How do you attach Molle to a diagonal molle?

  • @Ajpforman - The exact same way. You just turn the pouch/holster/etc 45* to the side. The diagonal molle is meant to turn the item, so it's not straight up and down.

  • scottish BDU ftw

  • Great presentation, but what are you wearing? A camo kilt?

  • Trägt der Typ nen Rock? Ich kann es nicht glauben. Alter wie krank ein Rock in UCP

  • Nice video but dude, the legs need to be covered :)

  • good vid!

  • looks like a frock to me.

  • that kilt is badass man nice

  • Comment removed

  • when did you get that kilt?

  • awesome a tactical kilt FTW

  • 45 lbs was a BAD estimate, i bet you are closer to 12 lbs fully loaded

  • people watching this video are extremely close minded ... but is that a camo kilt? thats AWESOME! i want one =P

but you say every senario play should have a water pack ... why? is it really worth it?

  • hack yes! As a real soldier and an airsoft player I use a water pack.

First it is on your back and thus saves place instead of carring a botle in one of the pockets.

second, its more silence then a bottle (well less inmortant for airsoft but still if sticking to real combat conditions).

Third and most important' its more comfortable and faster to drink from, unlike the botle) espacially if to take into account that airsoft players uses face masks or other face defence.

  • Good vid.

  • leave braveheart alone!!!! his table cloth of a dress gives his kids easy access to his balls!!!!!!!! get some trousers you gay fat fuck. then get a life!!!!

  • agreed

  • molle webbing is better than interlock

  • Mls captain ill guess ill be fighting you at sword good luck muhahahah

  • I'll see ya on the field this year bro!

Fightin' for either the 9th Brit Airborne, or 1 CAN PARA

  • how is the vest working out for you i just bought one hasnt shipped yet

  • ???

  • good video... i was lookin at some vests today acutaly..hmm one question r u wearin a skirt? (dont mean 2 b rude i just cant help 2 ask)heh

  • Simple. I'M NOT. If you'd read the other comments, you'd know it's a kilt, not a skirt.

  • Ever hear of the CanScots? haha

  • @JackRockBLC A kilt is a skirt, and you aren't Scottish you're American.

  • hydration pack was my best investment for senario games in my opinion i hate being a thirsty motherfucker

  • Rock on. I'm not truly European, but I am of English, German, Irish and Sottish descent (MacTavish clan).

  • @JackRockBLC hahaha you americans make me luagh english and scottish are from germanic tribes irish are a mixture of basque and germanic im from northen ireland which is mainly scottish/scandavaina which are both a branch of germanic tribes the differnce is easy to tell germanics are taller with blonde/brown hair bule/green eyes and the irish and welsh basque are spainish they have brown eyes black/brown hair but theres alot of mixing so thats why its confusing to americans.

  • @JackRockBLC YAH MACTAVISH mw2

  • one it's called a kilt. it's the traditional dress for both the scottish and the irish. Other than that, a very well thought out explanation on the gear. I got that exact same vest in woodland.

  • Thank you, atlanticraven. It's certainly my favorite vest. The only thing I'd consider more now, is the new Forge system, since the front and back SHELLS can be modular, themselves. But I doubt I'll need to.

  • is this dude wearing a skirt?

  • No. And it's great to see people are so very understanding of other cultures. [/sarcasm]

  • Is this guy wearing a freakin ACU colored kilt ?!?!?!?!

  • oh yeah and GO COLORADO!!! we know how to play us some paintball!

  • but I bet that kilt comes in handy at D-Day (nice and breezy), too hot down in Oklahoma to run around in pants

  • nice kilt, screw you people kilts ftw!!...just ask the romans.

also it proves he is sucure in his man hood and not scared of what people will think of him...more then i can say for you haters

  • It's amazing how many people don't know the difference between a kilt and a skirt.

  • This is good and i am a soldier and it is pronounced Molly like the girls name

  • i like your vest and the camo kilt xD

  • either way nice video

  • Thanks :)

  • anytime bro make more i subscribed

  • AHAHAHA ITS MOLE NOT MOLLY

  • Having been a soldier, I can assure you that the services refer to it as MOLLE, pronounced "molly".

  • I suppose your correct but i subscribe and read S.W.A.T. Magazine, Soldier of Fortune Magzine, and they all refer to it as mole. also on future weapons they refer to it as such, although i have seen a blackhawk video calling it molly. contraversial?

  • Officially, it's "Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment", but that's just the full name. I know some places say "Mole", but that's never really been an official name, ad the military all refers to it as "molly".

  • ok thanks for letting me noe

  • its not a BDU its a BSU. Battle Skirt Uniform.

  • No, the accessories (pouches, etc.) are purchased separately.

  • dose it come with any accessories with the molle vest

  • lol idk it's defiantly a BDU.....battle "DRESS" uniform hahahah

  • o alright....kilt...aka scottish dress

  • nice skirt

  • dose it have a pot pack on it?

  • You're gonna have to be more specific on what "it" is. Are you referring to the Operative vest featured in the video? Remember that this video is focused on the fastening systems, not the vests.

To answer your question on the Operative including a pod pack, no it does not come standard. You buy the individual pouches separately, to customize it to what you want.

  • lol, i thought MOLLE was pronounced like Mole. LOL

  • Hey do you know any good vests that the tank pouch can hold a 110ci 4500psi tank? thx

  • Thank you so much for this video, I was having a hard time finding info on how all this stuff works.

  • lol camo kilt jack? XD XD XD

this is kipmudson by the way.

thanks for the vid,it helped a lot actually.

  • Yup. Camo Kilt. And yes, you will see it at D-Day :)

  • Yup. Hand-made by a friend of mine, in my team's camouflage. I'm going to eventually have one made in Flecktarn, as well.

  • Thankyou! I needed a good view of how the interlock system worked.

  • Glad you got something out of it. That's why I made it :)

  • are you actually military or just a civi that goes paintballing or airsoft

  • I am a veteran that plays paintball.

  • man i wished they had small vests for that fact i'm not very big

  • vary nice indeed, good work.

  • Glad you all liked it. This new camera is better quality than the tape one I used to have. The coloring is better. I just wish I wasn't limited to 100mb on YouTube.

Just wait until I get the DVD project running.

  • Great video, as always, it's loaded with information. Check your mailbox buddy. LOL

  • i think you kilt is sexy!

    Yea 1st view 5/5

  • No, he don't. He's wearing a KILT. A trend that is catching on, especially with us players who are of Scottish or Irish ancestry/origin.

  • They're really handy with the whole movement thing, I tired a kilt before- it only gave me a problem when I played in heavy brush.

  • whats the special ops operative v.2 made by, like what company?

  • It is made by SpecialOps Paintball. They have the new Forge system now, too.

  • and the model is the spceial Operative V2 vest right?

  • Correct. It is the Operative V2 vest that is featured here.
