@williamED15 - Yes, but why should that matter? Are you trying to hide in a sniper position while re-arranging your vest? Modular vests are not designed to be adjusted with stealth in mind. It still takes time, and free hands to do this. IOW, it should be done in a staging area, outside the playing area.
@JackRockBLC seeking ideally and this will sound bad but I have a Camelbak Molle vest and the way he demonstrated it making that that sound while it was rattling concerned me if i was jogging or briskly moving about in a scenario where sound might be of the essence.
in reference to the kilt : i guess its the same as the old purse/manbag discussion. its all about whether you re used to seeing someone wear it or it if it strikes you as odd.
call it what you want, function is what defines the item.
@Ajpforman - The exact same way. You just turn the pouch/holster/etc 45* to the side. The diagonal molle is meant to turn the item, so it's not straight up and down.
hack yes! As a real soldier and an airsoft player I use a water pack.
First it is on your back and thus saves place instead of carring a botle in one of the pockets.
second, its more silence then a bottle (well less inmortant for airsoft but still if sticking to real combat conditions).
Third and most important' its more comfortable and faster to drink from, unlike the botle) espacially if to take into account that airsoft players uses face masks or other face defence.
leave braveheart alone!!!! his table cloth of a dress gives his kids easy access to his balls!!!!!!!! get some trousers you gay fat fuck. then get a life!!!!
@JackRockBLC hahaha you americans make me luagh english and scottish are from germanic tribes irish are a mixture of basque and germanic im from northen ireland which is mainly scottish/scandavaina which are both a branch of germanic tribes the differnce is easy to tell germanics are taller with blonde/brown hair bule/green eyes and the irish and welsh basque are spainish they have brown eyes black/brown hair but theres alot of mixing so thats why its confusing to americans.
one it's called a kilt. it's the traditional dress for both the scottish and the irish. Other than that, a very well thought out explanation on the gear. I got that exact same vest in woodland.
Thank you, atlanticraven. It's certainly my favorite vest. The only thing I'd consider more now, is the new Forge system, since the front and back SHELLS can be modular, themselves. But I doubt I'll need to.
I suppose your correct but i subscribe and read S.W.A.T. Magazine, Soldier of Fortune Magzine, and they all refer to it as mole. also on future weapons they refer to it as such, although i have seen a blackhawk video calling it molly. contraversial?
Officially, it's "Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment", but that's just the full name. I know some places say "Mole", but that's never really been an official name, ad the military all refers to it as "molly".
You're gonna have to be more specific on what "it" is. Are you referring to the Operative vest featured in the video? Remember that this video is focused on the fastening systems, not the vests.
To answer your question on the Operative including a pod pack, no it does not come standard. You buy the individual pouches separately, to customize it to what you want.
Glad you all liked it. This new camera is better quality than the tape one I used to have. The coloring is better. I just wish I wasn't limited to 100mb on YouTube.
But isn't the hooks much louder?

Interlock is loud. It doesnt keep the pouch tight enough to the body.

No, he don't. He's wearing a KILT. A trend that is catching on, especially with us players who are of Scottish or Irish ancestry/origin.

They're really handy with the whole movement thing, I tired a kilt before- it only gave me a problem when I played in heavy brush.
