@Zockanumber1 Bioware doesn't do the ratings, ESRB does. If there is any sort of realistic human blood than ESRB's rating system dictates it must automatically be M rated. Take Skyrim vs. Batman: Arkham City. AC has tons of language whereas Skyrim barely has any, but Skyrim gets the M rating for the blood while AC maintains a Teen rating.

@moonknight2011 I have to agree with you, In DA 2 there's all that shit about Mages and Templars and Qunari invading. But really that seems less epic compared to DAO in which you destroy a blight. In order to fix this they need to have DA3 to have shit that goes down so bad that it has to make DAO seem less dangerous. Which DA2 failed at. (Not to mention they really fucked up the combat system, cause if it ain't broke then don't fix it.)
