The thing is the Genesis has a bigger engine than the Camaro, a lower ratio rearend, its 300lbs lighter, has a freer flowing exhaust but only beats it by a few 10ths of a sec. Not to imressed. The biggest problem of all is the ugy styling.

@matrox Styling is subjective, so I'll just throw away that part of your argument. Mustang's curb weight is 3464lbs... GC is 3476 with the Track Package which eliminates a lot of weight. Bigger engine has nothing to do with power anymore. Last year's Mustang had a 4.0L V6 which was slow as hell.

Also, you seemed to have missed the major part of my argument so let me restate it.

The Genesis Coupe will have 333hp next year, putting it well over the top of the other ponycars.

Its an Econobox. A pony car is designed aat the factory to handle a V8. Stick a V8 in this car and watch the front end drang the ground then you will really need a so called track pack just to drive to the 7/11. Don't even no why some try to compare them to Pony cars.

Next year they're giving it the best V6 in class to make it better.
